Otara Alaka was at practice today with his HS coach Kirk Eaton. He was the guy Strong spent a half hour talking zone read or something with. Anyway, just thought his tweet was interesting

Roster updated today and the mystery of #26 is solved. It's walk-on RB Chance Gray who is generously listed at 5'7"

Interesting that both Taylors are now listed at Linebacker.
Which side of the field do they play?

they've always been listed at LB. I think we did it to make numbers look better for recruiting

The Dolezal / Gray combo is going to be dirty.

All I see on twitter is people just stunned at how good Speedy looks. I'm excited to see him play.

Damn Speedy was getting fricking after it on those blocks.
Posted on 3/3/14 at 8:00 pm to WhiskerBiscuitSlayer
yeah most QBs are prima donnas that won't even do that drill. But he not only stepped up, he fricking destroyed Tavares.

Little did ULSU know, we also promised speedy he could play guard along with QB
Posted on 3/3/14 at 8:16 pm to WestCoastAg
I'm sure Mack Brown would have offered him at safety.

Apparently James White has been showing out
Posted on 3/5/14 at 9:19 pm to ShaneTheLegLechler
I'm gonna say this and people are going to blow it off, but James White may be our starting back this year
Posted on 3/5/14 at 9:22 pm to tmc94
btw, the next time they do this, I wanna see Speedy vs Deshazor

That would be excellent news because I think he fits the profile of a true every down back best out of all the guys on the roster. We know the roles of Trey and Tra, not sure where Brandon Williams fits
