John Chavis:

quote:

"The third year of me being the coordinator at Tennessee, we won an SEC championship, the fourth year we played for and won a national championship. LSU, the third year, we played for a national championship. We are as talented now as when I was at Tennessee or when I went to LSU. We will be improved, there's no question about that. It's not a lack of talent. We have work to do, but we have a ton of talent that fits places in our scheme."

brb, gonna go put in a large-bore centrail line to accomodate all this Koolaid

Jk yall should be excited, you got a coach who you'll get a few good years out of before he retires. Then the sky is the limit

This little backhanded BS should stay on tRant. I know you're trying to play nice, but after all the Agsessing you;ve done today you should probably just take a break.

Also I thought him and Les won with Sabans players

Dont know why you'd think that, he showed up six years after Saban left LSU.

I've discussed LSU today with aTm fans, my friend.

Sorry if I've offended you. I was only complimenting what Chavis can do for your program in the few years he has left to coach.

Don't be so sensitive.

I dont mind it, I would prefer dissenting opinions as opposed to a uniform think tank.

If opposing fans have to pander to post on opposing teams boards there is no purpose. Look at how annoyingly homogenous the Arky and Auburn boards are, they kick off anyone at the first sign of dissent.

frick yea, get heem Roger!

Farmer, embrace it. I've said numerous times I think Chavis will improve aTm. Is it any doubt the man doesn't have a lot of years left to coach? What's so wrong about assuming that?

Chavis has openly said his desire is to coach another 15 years

So yeah, you're trolling here

Some things are more important than football

quote:

The grass that surrounds the MSC is considered one of its most important legacies. It is a living memorial dedicated to all Aggies, past or future, who have given or will give their lives in wartime. In order to respect the 955 Aggie soldiers killed in the line of duty, Texas A&M tradition prohibits all Aggies from stepping on the grass that surrounds the building.

He isn't that old really. I mean, only two years older than Steele.
