After tonight, I would like to see a Rubio/Kasich ticket. Bother were outstanding, and you basically lock down BOTH Florida and Ohio.

The VP doesn't always lock down their own state. I'd actually say Kasich's performance was one of the weakest out of the 10.

Seriously.

I haven't found it in me to get worked up about such issues in a LONG time.

I've met Cruz and his father in a small setting, like them both, but I can't stand how he has devolved into a guy who has built half his political recognition by pandering to the lowest common denominator. hes just falling in line with our governor, lt gov, and AG right now.

I spent all night at the DC Young Republicans watch party. Very diverse opinions, except for universally hating Trump.

I'm a huge fan of Sen. Rubio, but I feel a bit hypocritical supporting a inexperienced junior senator after spending 7 years knocking President Obama for it.

I think the same segment of the party supports Rubio, Kasich, Walker, Bush, and Graham. As the primary continues and that group gets narrowed down, I feel their supporters will coalesce behind the eventual nominee, the so called "establishment" candidate.

As for personal preference:
Tier 1(Actively rooting for):
Rubio
Walker
Bush

Tier 2 (I'd be fine if they got the nomination):
Bobby Jindal
Lindsey Graham
Fiorina
Perry
Christie
Maybe Paul

Tier 9 (The baylor tier):
Carson
Trump
Cruz
Huckabee

I think the democratic party is taking this election for granted and will be shocked by the number of middle ground voters and old-school democrats who vote for the GOP in 2016.

I think you'll be shocked by how UNtrue this is, for the very reasons you mentioned. There is not a strong center-right GOP candidate this election. Otherwise I think you'd be correct.

I don't see how anyone can support a candidate that openly supports all of the Democratic political goals. That is what you get in Bush. If you want the party to grow there has to be a distinction between us and them. As it is now there are very few who actually represent the views of a huge portion of the society.

Oh man, where to even fricking BEGIN with this shitty field of candidates?

Fiorina is the most intelligent, the quickest, the masterdebater, and she holds views most in line with my own, BUT she has no political organization so it's a lost cause.

Cruz started out his career awesome, my retired, country-dwelling parents met and spoken at length with him and his dad and love them, but in my opinion, as a poster above stated, he's devolved into a caricature and become obsessed with fighting a crusade for Christianity.

Paul is a sad shadow of his father.

Rubio, that traitorous little shite, flipped sides like Anakin as soon as he got power.

K-whatever, I majored in political science way back when, and follow it, eh, decently now, but I hadn't ever heard of this guy until last week. Then I looked up his positions, and holy shite, he's left of Democrats from the '90s. Guy is soft as a sponge. If you want to nominate another McCain or Mittens, only without ANY name recognition, vote for this guy. I openly impugn the intelligence of anyone who supports him.

Bush. Fuuuuuuuuuuuuck you, buddy. He and the establishment think he's owed the presidency by virtue of the fact that his dad and brother were president. The prospect of such a dynastic reign in America disgusts me. Jeb is also weak as singly ply toilet paper and equally as dirty and corrupt. He doesn't stand for a damn thing.

Trump is a clown.

.

this...and I'd like Kasich to be the lead.

Some think Kasich is too liberal fiscally because of the obamacare and medicaid deal. He has a common sense approach outside of the ideologue framework. Clinton gets credit for balancing the budget back in the day, but it was Kasich, Gingrich and the republicans that held his feet to the fire.

That would be a good team. You have a youthful Rubio who really needs a little nore seasoning and an electable political veteran.
