Texags is so stupid.

They are not "in the market for another defensive tackles coach".

But we aren't going to fire McKinney, although he is getting a pay cut.

Looks like we are going all-in on defensive staff. Chief selecting a new defensive line coach.

OC/QB - Mazzone
OL - Jim Turner
TE/ST - Jeff Banks
WR - Moorehead
RB - McKinney

DC/LB - Chief
DL - ?
DE - Terry Price
DB - Terry Joseph

We need to get McKinney out of Houston then if that's the case, or he needs to get his shite together

Just...no. Price will coach the entire line like he did in 2012, 2013, and 2014.

We aren't firing him because it's too risky. He has "smoking gun" written all over him.

Ive been telling you guys he will be here as long as Sumlin is our coach, regardless of how good he is at his job.

Sounds like it will go down soon and that Chavis is zoned in on someone

Brick is my best guess...which begs the question - why not do this last year?

Why fire Hagen in 2015 when he can be a scapegoat in 2016?

We're just being tactical with our staff moves is all.

Why do it at all? He's not an impressive hire in my opinion.

Isn't he a legendary "recruiter"? That's probably why.

So Chief is one of the best DCs in CFB but he shouldn't be allowed to form his defensive staff the way he thinks will serve the team best? Shouldn't his opinion hold more sway than random LSU fans on the internet?
