Baylor gave Griner's girlfriend a full-ride scholarship, including room and board. GF almost blew it by getting caught with booze her fish year.

Pretty much sums it up. It was a well known fact around the coaching circuit in Houston that Mulkey got Griner's (at the time) girlfriend a full ride to Baylor with the idea that Baylor would have absolutely no problem with her sexual orientation or relationship (which she learned otherwise as soon as she stepped on campus).

I honestly felt bad for Brittney. She got sold a welcoming environment (plus extras), but ended up going to a school that forbid her from openly displaying who she really was. She was very approachable while at Baylor to both fans and students, but the administration didn't really support her 100%. Had she been another average player, it is likely she wouldn't have lasted long at Baylor.

.
.
.

Or maybe she should have raped a person or two...maybe then, Baylor would have shown her some support. ...

I thought about bumping it, but I would really like the thread title to be changed. It's so freaking sad and not funny at all.

Baylor stopped being funny a long time ago.

Baylor is like the Cosby Show, you want to laugh at the funny parts but then you end up disgusted that you're even watching it because you remember that it stars truly disgusting human beings.

Ken Starr fired, and if Chip Brown is to be believed, he was told that a Baylor insider said that they wouldn't fire their "Moses", meaning Briles.

I don't know if I should believe the man who is completely inaccurate or the stupidity of someone to say something like that.

I know it's been said before but this thread title makes me really uncomfortable

If it's okay with Tbird/WCA/tmc I would like to start a new thread to discuss the Baylor situation

Or they can start a thread, Idc, but this is weird

This thread should just be pinned at the top of the board for the rest of the season.

I took a couple of online classes from Liberty online while I was in the USAF.

Had no idea they even had a football team.

Guess Baylol didn't, either
