I was just looking at the QB stats post on the SEC Recruiting board, and given that I see y'all are super high on Mond....are any of you worried that he's only completing 52% of his passes at the high school level?

While comp% isn't bad he's not even throwing the ball 20x a game and he's averaging over 10 ypa with a 16-1 TD to INT ratio. He's not doing is vs scrubs. He's doing it vs one of the toughest HS schedules in the nation from what I have read. He's obviously not expected to come in a be a high end pocket passer in year 1. He's the top dual threat QB. I would set expectations of Jalen Hurt(this season) in a few years.

It's a little concerning as far as him playing right away. He has all the tools and will improve in that respect with time on campus but I would prefer him to be a backup his first year because I'm not sure how successful he will be throwing the ball if we throw him in right away

I haven't followed recruiting as much as I have in the past, just happened to see that post and have seen y'all discuss Mond on here.

Is he not expected to compete with Hubenak for the starting gig? Or do y'all have another JUCO that is likely to come in?

yes

the QB position will be up for grabs in the spring between Hubenak, Starkle, and Mond. I don't think Blumrick will really be in that competition because of injury.

Is his comp % worrisome? I dunno about all that. It'll be a healthy competition and if he wins it, I think we'll be okay. Anyway, we have a QB now that can't pass and we're top 10.

It'll go to Stidham, but keep it quiet. Mond can start as a RS SO.

It won't be Hubenak. If we land Stidham, it'll be him. If not, it'll be between Starkle and Mond.

Committing/decommiting/committing back to the same school in a span of like 6 weeks should have been a red flag for them

Tom Herman looks lousy again today. Currently losing 21-3 against UH at halftime. Have his kids quit on him? Do you think we try to get Ed Oliver after his coach leaves UH?
