True story: I had to miss most of the game for granddaughter's ballet recital. She's 4. FOUR! So yeah, it was as awful as you might imagine. Come intermission time and precious granddaughter is done for the day, so we're about to leave when I hear behind me:
Man 1: "Well, I know YOU'RE happy."
Man 2: "How's that?"
Man 1: "'Cuz Ole Miss is beating up EVERYBODY."
Man 2: "Yeah, and they're up late 8-5 over those darn Aggies."
Me, standing up, turning around with my A&M shirt, growl "It's not over."
So we're standing around outside when SafetySam informs me Ags have gone up 10-8. I really, really wanted to go back inside to discuss things with those two gentlemen, but didn't want to perform the dreaded double jinx. You're welcome.
What do I win?

Tell ya what. I don't want to go by myself, and as you might imagine there aren't a lot of Aggie fans in these parts. Drop dead departure time is 10AM. If you show up at 10 or earlier, we'll go. 6-1/2 hr drive from CS to V'burg.
Now the pressure is on you.

Tomorrow? Oh, hell no. I'm not sure about him with a 5-run lead. I hope it all works out for him, but he's proven he can't be depended on.

A&M up 2-1 in the top of 3. A wild throw by Homan would have ended the inning 2-0, but now they have runners on 1st and 2nd. Ump's strike zone is very inconsistent. Shore only went 1 inning. We hit him hard.
