Oh my, Maroney just got picked off 1st on the old "fake to 3rd, throw to 1st" play. Two out rally killed, but at least we scored 2. Headed to the bottom of the 1st

Yeah, that was a tough mistake on Moroney's part. That play works about 1 out of 10,000 times, it seems. And that was after Davis had worked the full count, and the pitch count was going through the roof.

Sadly, wheels are off for the moment for A&M. Mental errors are killing them today. Questionable pitching change and seeing eye ground balls haven't helped.
