Soso becomes #1
I hadn't seen this list but this made me go look at it. Honestly, it's a matter of opinion on recruiting a lot of times and I know a couple on our staff think really highly of Soso (several don't however which is why we didn't pursue heavily). Personally I'd have Anderson higher but hey, that's just my opinion. The difference between 1 and 11 is really not as big as all that.
But what's really striking to me is how few of the top guys are going to end up in the Big 12. They have no other real recruiting grounds and yet you have to get to #9 before you find a guy that likely ends up there. It's just really freaky how much they are suffocating

But isn't it OB that comes up with the list?

Ketch is the main one that comes up with those rankings.

Yes, they come up with the LSR. Those don't always reflect Rivals' official rankings

Taylor Hamm always bumpin his gums.

How is possible Hamm is this bad at his job. Relationship with recruits is key in recruiting yet he scares guys away from A&M and pisses others off.

I fricking hate Hamm so much. Apparently he made a snarky comment that Elliot has off the field issues.

He included Boyd in that comment.

It would be pretty tight if he would just disappear

frick that guy. Does he not realize how much he hurts A&M?

Gilmer’s Kris Boyd and Rockwall-Heath’s Deshon Elliot are tough calls at the moment. Boyd is getting excited about A&M again because he’s expecting a big week on the recruiting front for the Aggies. With the Army All-American being so close to Christian Kirk, Josh Walker, Malik Jefferson, Daylon Mack and Kyler Murray, he’s once again leaning towards A&M.
Here’s the issue, and it’s safe to say Elliot falls into the same category, there are concerns around some non-football related things with both elite DBs. That’s not anything that hasn’t been shared before, perhaps with Elliot, but not on Boyd, so there’s the hesitation from the staff on two “no-brainers” talent-wise.
There’s a chance A&M changes their mind on Boyd, as he’s expected to visit in January, but there’s a reason Elliot hasn’t been asked to visit officially.
Hamm at his finest.

Dude has no shame. He's shitting on 17-18 year olds...

How have y'all not got him fired yet?

I agree Rodney Anderson is the better prospect. Our move was the perfect time and has really been a death blow.

A&M wants nothing to do with him. They yanked his credentials a while back.
