Good to see Kris Boyd is going to make an OV. Hope that means we're going to push to get him.

Some pretty big notes from TA's most recent update

-Deandre took in the Texas game and basically said it was just okay and didn't have anything against A&M

-Speaking with people around the McNeill and Jefferson recruitment, the TA staff is starting to feel much better about landing both

-Things with Kirk Merritt and Christian Kirk's recruitment have gotten a lot tighter. Merritt called Oregon visit equal to A&M, and CK has enjoyed his last couple of visits (ASU, UCLA). He's also slated to visit USC and Oregon

-No word from Daylon Mack yet

-A&M staff still feels very good about Kendall Sheffield

His Twitter account will be quiet for a while, then suddenly here come the tweets.

Right now he's probably concentrating on Gladewater's playoff run.

The update was very promising.

If we finish with Sheff, McNeal, & Malik while holding on to Kyler, Mack, & Moore then this may be our best class ever on paper.

Supposedly some JUCO QB is taking a visit to the Ags. Either Kenny Hill is moving out or the staff wants a backup if Kyler decommits

I never know what to think when it comes to Mack. He's consistently all over the place when it comes to other teams. The only constant is A&M

If we had gotten blown out like we expected Saturday I would be much more concerned re Mack. If we can split these last two games and win the bowl game and finish 9-4 I'm very confident. Esp if we can hang on to Kyler and get Malik and/or Sheffield on board

Not digging this very much

1. Mack always says very positive things about each school

2. If an LSU 247 mod feels good about LSU's chances with a recruit, I feel good about the school on the other side

Agreed. We pull out a huge win like that even with some talent holes. We get those guys here to plug those holes and watch out. We saw great contributions from true freshmen on defense, imagine what Mack, Malik, Sheffield, + the other great talent that is already committed could do.

I would think Mack has to be pumped about the possibility of playing next to Myles.

All of that, plus a better scheme
