Harvey going to Dallas isn't good news but I don't think seeing OU destroy tu is going to really impress him. Seeing half of the stands empty at halftime has got to be a bad sign for a recruit. I'll be more worried when they announce Mack's replacement.

Here is some video on Iheanacho if anybody is interested.

Anyway, they are good friends and he's coming in next weekend and speculation is that he'll commit very soon, which should give us 3 in the next week (DE Garrett, OT Gennessy, WR Nacho)

AggyArk Premium SneekPeak :
Looks like Nacho(excellent nickname ) told a couple recruiting services that he plans to wait till the end of the season to decide because of the amount of attention he has received this week.

For our subscribers: If he waits to decide, I told you so. If he commits earlier, you read what I said out of context.

Iheanacho continues to blow up. Since we offered he's been offered by La Tech, Michigan State, Vanderbilt, and TCU. He visited TCU this past weekend and he witnessed a crazy crowd and I'm not sure we're going to be able to compete with that

That's horrible. I've seen more people at Kyle during a midnight yell while it was raining. It wasn't even close to that bad for that Thursday night hurricane game against TSU.

Recruits coming to the Auburn game:

2015 Cy Falls DT De'Vante Lampkin
2015 Longview RB Jamychal Hasty
2016 Allen OL Gregory Little
2015 Stephenville QB Jarrett Stidham
2016 PA Memorial RB Kameron Martin

ETA: Daylon told TexAgs he may commit this weekend if his parents give him the OK.

Not sure about Daylon. He keeps getting excited he's going to commit and his parents keep making him wait. They told him over the summer after the season so I'm not sure if they are going to suddenly relent now just because he's excited to get it done.

On the rest...

Garrett - set to announce his college choice on Oct 19th. What day is that again?
Lodge - happy to get him on campus. Crazy good WR but he seems to favor the sips
Elbert - I could see him commit. He's had us leading for a while. Top OT target for '15
Iheanacho - seems to really like A&M but you wouldn't blame him for wanting to look around some. He's getting all kinds of attention overnight. Btw, he looks legit but he's going to need a year in the weight room imo. Edward Pope thinks he's too skinny. Here's an interview with him with Courtney Roland (hi Courtney ) and sounds like an absolutely great kid. Calm, cool, smart and blown away with what's going on.
Lampkin - no offer yet but he's got to get his grades in order. Probably the 2nd best DT in Texas though
Hasty - extremely fast little athlete that could be a great slot receiver if he wants to be. The sips took Stevenson because Hasty likes Baylor more than them but he might be ours if we can convince him he's not a RB
Stidham - our only other QB offer outside of Murray in '15. We're going to take two and those are our top two. Not sure if he's going to want to be the "other" QB in the Ag hearts and minds though. But with such a bare cupboard at QB, I'm sure we're telling him he plays and Kyler redshirts (Kyler is young for his class and really could use a year)
Martin - early thoughts are best back in '16.

despite what your side is hearing CC, Daylon has been pretty adamant for a while that he wants to come to A&M. Like a lot of guys though, he doesn't like that to be taken as fact until he does it so he never says it publicly. But the entire time he's been pretty overtly recruiting for us despite not having committed yet

by the way, was told to expect 2-3 more big names this weekend. Saw 247 just said Tony Brown will be there so there is one. Was hoping for someone we have a chance with

I'd like to have him but never gotten my hopes up. East Texas has gotten a lot more A&M friendly the past two years. Would like to see some kids from Longview and surrounding area start going to A&M.

I should have noted that he didn't say where he was going to commit and it was only a possibility anyways. I'm not sure if his parents are against him going to A&M or just want him to make the best choice by giving other teams time to meet and greet him. He loves the attention from all of the recruiting sites and fans so I'd be surprised to see him make a move this soon.

His parents are absolutely 100% not anti-A&M. In fact, if anything the family is pro-A&M.

They are against their 16-year old son making a commitment without fully considering his options and have told him in no uncertain terms that a commitment means something. That when you commit, you are done. At least as of the summer, they didn't feel like he was ready yet.

I wish more parents were like this to be honest. They seem to get it and imo they are bad arse.

That's good to hear, and I agree with you. It would be nice if more kids realized you are making a commitment to play for that team, and you need to honor that commitment.

Hard to see him not ending up in Maroon. He will be a good one no matter what.

tmc have you heard any news on Hoza recently? Last I heard a couple weeks ago was he was back in good standing with his team and was playing but I didnt hear much about his academics.

We really need every defensive stud we can get.

It's funny watching our sides talk about Mack. Check out our RB.

Hoza is such a hard one to read. I had completely written him off but now it looks like he has a real shot. The difference with him and Griffin from what I can read between the lines (have no idea really) is it sounds like he isn't in the giant hole that Griffin was. Griffin was trying to make up for 3 bad years in 1, it doesn't sound like Hoza is in quite that bad of shape but he screwed around last year. I know he is apparently about to take his ACT, the issue is if he needs a ridiculous score on it or not and that's really hard to tell.

Kid is an absolute freak though. If he can get in he will make an immediate impact, he just oozes talent.

The biggest key for this weekend though has to be locking down Garrett. Garrett may be the best DE prospect in the country this year and gives us an immediate pass rush threat.
