I think we are in pretty good position for Dixon(RB), Grant(RB), Jones(LB) to commit soonish. I would bet on Carvin(OL) being a VOL. Emerson is a lock, it doesn't matter when he commits.
Bold prediction: We flip Davis from Bama. He is suppose to come back later and if his mom comes, watch for it.

Also Chatman(DL) decommitted from LSU after his visit last weekend. That is a really good sign.

Are either of those RBs good? Didn't see them on the 247 top 250. Would love to see us get a top end RB.

Low four to high three star level. We aren't on any top tier RBs this class and the class itself appears to be very weak for RBs.
I like Dixon, but he has size concerns and isn't elite athleticism wise either. Would still like to pick him up.

Hopefully the Kelly/Chandler duo will last a couple years. Still have hope for Fils-aime as well.

We really don't need an elite running back with our offense i.e Neal and Lane producing. Hurd would have smashed the rushing record in three years with a shitty oline and mediocre passing game if he was mentally stable.
CFA doesn't looked good to me. I think, if healthy, Kelly absolutely kills it this year and get some rbs to look our way.

RB Dixon sounds like he is announcing this Saturday. I think the staff likes us in this one. I agree that he his size (Listed at 178) worries me a little bit, but I like his speed and he's shifty. #6 APB on 247 and #9 RB on ESPN.

He's got a UT background on Twitter fwiw.
Jamarcus Chatman (recent LSU decomitt) and several of his family members have been very pro UT on Twitter. As of right now I think he is Tennessee's to lose. Not sure how it plays out if Tennessee isn't willing to accept the lower rated teammate that is still committed to LSU. If they end up being a package I don't know that he ends up at Tennessee.

JUCO DE who is originally from South Carolina I believe. Good tape and will be getting a ratings bump on a few sites in the future. I think it's between S. Carolina, Tenn, and maybe Oklahoma?
It sounds like it's down to Tennessee and Penn St. for 4* CB Jordan Miner out of Florida.

Nice, really needed to land him. Lyn-J Dixon has a fun highlight tape. Kind of similar to Kamara in that he is an extremely elusive, hard to tackle back that lacks that top gear. Not saying he is close to being as talented as Kamara, but they have a similar style. Questions on him is how is going to handle that 25+ pounds that he going to need to add.
I do think he will be getting bump to a four star on all services in the end.

He will need a redshirt to put on about 20 lbs, but I think he's a great fit for this offense down the road.

I saw that his HS is in the smallest classification for Georgia football or some where close. Not always ideal, but a lot of those little schools have some talented guys but lack the depth of players like the larger schools. I believe he's in the same district that Nick Marshall was in? Either way, I'd much rather take an athletic guy from a small school in Georgia or Florida than just about anywhere else. The talent in those 2 states is unreal. So many of those second and even third (sometimes) tier Georgia and Florida kids go on to have some good careers. Maybe not super stars, but role players none the less. I'm optimistic (But when am I not

This class is shaping up to potentially be Butch's best at UT. 6th nationally and 2nd in the SEC.
