Wow I must have hit a nerve. You have a lot of anger to be a father of 5. Do you talk to your kids that way?

Sorry you don't like to hear the truth. Fact is we have produced well at the RB position as far as the NFL goes.

Shaun Alexander possible future hall of famer. Glenn Coffee Rd. 3/75 overall pick, turned down an $8mil contract as the 49ers feature back to be a preacher. Ingram obviously first rounder. Soon to be TR top ten pick.

The best RB AU has produced in the NFL is Stephan Davis. Sure you had Brown and Cadillac, but their careers have been marred by injury. Ben Tate will probably have the best career of those 4 when it's said and done.

Yup, that's their fault. How dare they go out and get injured after being picked in the top 5 in the draft.

Using a 3rd round draft pick, that isn't even in the NFL anymore, as a bragging chip. fricking awesome.

Kenny Irons was picked up in the 2nd round but tore his ACL in the first preseason game.
Rudi Johnson had a good career until injuries ended it. Holds the single season rushing record for Cincy.

How they do in the NFL has nothing to do with them getting there. Hmmmm, let's see. Tate, Irons, Cadillac, Ronnie, Rudi Johnson. We can get an RB in the NFL, so don't play that card.

Didn't he get arrested with a gun and alcohol in his car?

AU has put a great # of RB's in the NFL recently.. including 2 in the top 5.

O Rly?

Head coach Mike Singletary stated that sixth round draft pick Anthony Dixon and veteran Michael Robinson would compete for the number 2 running back spot and that Coffee's departure would not be a distraction to the team.

Think Frank Gore next time.

Tucker Fredrickson, Willie Andrews, Joe Cribbs, James Brooks, Bo Jackson, and Rudi Johnson all Pro Bowl running backs. There are a few others who made it to the NFL. Ya that is the fact and the truth.

No you did't hit a nerve. You are just a dumb troll, really that is all. I talk to you that way does it hurt your vagina?

You really named one RB that produced well at the position. He may never see the HOF.

Auburn puts plenty in the NFL

Ah forgot about Rudi Johnson he was good for the Bengals. Was simply stating that we had equal success with sending RBs to the next level as "Running Back U". SO AU really had no advantages over UA for TY to make his decision.

Name them? You named three, and only one was productive so far out of the three.

Hmmmm, I read this.

He chose UA because it's a better gateway to the NFL.

Then you said this.

Which is it?

To bad you can't claim Brandon Jacobs he's statistically miles ahead of any of AU nfl RBs.

He'll probably end up with near 100tds when he's finished.

I would hope Shaun ends up in the HoF.

The guy had 9,500yds, 100tds, 4 seasons over 1300yds, and an MVP.

So this is your reply to name the other Bama RB's to the NFL?

No, I was just naming RBs in recent memory, last 12yrs or so. Hell these kids probably don't pay attention to NFL players that come out further than 5yrs back.

Well, name them.

Auburn has put 4 runningbacks in the top 2 rounds since the 2005 NFL draft.

What has bama done in that time frame?

5 years back let's see... Kenneth Darby, Glenn Coffee, Mark Ingram, and TR this year.

Edit:
Darby 7th round (36th pick)
Coffee 3rd round (10th pick)
Ingram 1st round (28th pick)
Richarson projected 1st round (7th pick)

Recruits aren't looking at Ronnie or Carnell. So you can throw that out the window since they were under Tubs.

You're playing for Saban or Chizik, and they don't even compare when it comes to NFL development at ANY position.

We see where your NFL talent is going... Ark State. Character issues will easily drop Dyer out the first round. Let's not forget Tate he was Tubs guy as well. Hell Chizik has been with the family 3yrs and hasn't developed any recent nfl talent out of AU. Cam and Farley already had their skills before Chizik came along.

Sounds fair. 5 years vs 3 years.

Go ahead and cross McElroy, McClain, Arenas, Marquis Johnson, Mike Johnson, Deadrick, Smith, Coffee, Caldwell, Rashad Johnson off your Saban list. All recruited by Shula.

Saban only has 6 draft picks under him so far in his 5 years at bama.

Yup. Cam and Fairley were top 15 picks at JUCO before enrolling at Auburn. You sure know your football.
