It's just trying to rationalize the completely irrational. They like to think they are special snowflakes.

I'll guarantee you several prospects have left Louisiana because they didn't want to be told that they were supposed to play for LSU.

All this shows is truly how pathetic, delusional and entitled your fanbase actually is.
Every other team has to share within their state so they can't get everybody and programs outside the state still take players.
You guys don't share with anyone and you cry like bitches, calling players traitors and kicking them out the state if they don't sign for your team. Ironically this only occurs with the best players, you don't care where the lower rated ones go.
Hypocrites.
It's shameful and pathetic. Will be a black eye on your program in the future.
You're so fricking mad.

The reason for that is now sitting at home with no job collecting a paycheck from LSU for the next few years.

Who was the head coach in the home loss to the clearly outmanned Florida Gators?

I don't think you understood my point. Squandering talent means when the highly rated recruits come in (like Robert Foster) they become busts, which jeopardizes their draft stock.
Under Les, that same talent didn't equate to national championships but, at least it didn't frick over anyone's chances at making it to the NFL.
We're the best at preparing recruits for the NFL (ok outside of the QB position). We're not wasting away talent.

Good thing LSU doesn't have busts, Anthony Freak Johnson is enjoying a great NFL career after dominating at LSU. Dominated the league.
Is Trevonte Valentine entering the draft this year? He has been so dominant since signing with LSU.

is that right?
I didn't realize we all watched college football to see our guys get drafted high one day. I thought the idea was to win while they were here. Squandering talent means you've acquired a lot of talent and haven't been able to win anything of note with it.

I think that many alumni on NFL rosters and little to no collegiate championships to show for it is the exact definition of squandering talent.

I mean.. You're a gump so I didn't expect you would know that I am prefacing this argument in what's best for the recruit.
The fact is you have all these 5 stars and yet they can't even get drafted in some cases.. For shite's sake, Robert Foster and Dee Liner couldn't even get on the field at the collegiate level! That is squandering talent.
Based on this article ( LINK) you can see Bama is pretty notorious at wasting a kid's potential.
I mean you can scream all you want about how LSU squandered Leonard Fournette's talent but, the fact of the matter is he's projected to go top-10. That's ultimately what matters to these recruits the most. Putting them in the best situation to get drafted as high as possible.
But don't let me stop you misinterpreting my argument.
