Right. It's more of a cultural thing than geographic similar to Acadiana in LA. This map is a pretty good definition with East Texas and Deep East TX being the same region for recruiting purposes pretty much

too bad we can't finish third or fourth in our division with a Heisman trophy winner at QB, what an embarrassment...

no, UGA just finishes 3rd/4th with an ALL-SEC, All-American, award-winning, stat-leading, record setting, 4th-year QB.....

So you think Murray is a better player than JFF?

How kind of you, but I would have to vehemently disagree with that assessment.

The golden triangle is kind of a gray area for me. I think most don't consider it East TX but I do. The people and culture seem pretty similar even though the landscape isn't

What's with your attitude?
Anyone who knows Texas with whom you may have a conversation will not refer to Dallas or Houston as "east Texas."
It's not a big deal. Relax.
And it's ok to be wrong.

Lousyanna is not cutting it. We already own that state. We need ot move to better recruiting grounds. GT and UGA both suck, so we can each dominate Georgia. I tell you what, Aubies. Let's split the state, shall we?

Man if that happens Aggies could potentially move up to 6th in the SEC.

Texas is too big anyway. they need to split it up into at least three states...

Fuk driving through it... north to south, west to east... OMG!
