How's Wetumpka compared to Tallassee?

The girls here are a lot hotter, it's a lot bigger, football is a lot more fun here, a lot of emos here though...

i don't want to derail the thread, but you seem well educated on Louisiana players and I was curious your thoughts on the 4 LA kids Arkansas picked up this weekend.

Moved to Australia a year and a half ago brother. No clue what the LA HS scene looks like right now haha, sorry!

I keep seeing people throw this out there, yet Williams wasn't ranked near as high as those two coming out of high school. He was ranked as the #19 WR in the Class of 2011, and 128th overall.

Were his grades and attitude THAT bad to have him ranked so low? He wasn't even the top WR in his own state, let alone the country (as people are now claiming). What's the deal here?

Sometimes kids are still ranked when they have grade concerns, but when it's literally not possible they often just slot them in arbitrarily. It was literally not possible for Williams to become qualified so they didn't worry about ranking him.

A similar thing happened with Noel Devine. He was this unranked or like 3 star youtube sensation who wasn't highly ranked because he wasn't a likely qualifier. He made up a ton of ground and around December he became the top overall all-purpose back in the rankings cause he had the chance to qualify. If Williams had a chance the same thing would've happened.

Every analyst who's ever seen him says he'd be the top WR were he qualified. I think I've seen Shea say he's the best recruit he's seen in LA since he started covering the state, regardless of position. I wouldn't give him that moniker simply because of the value of the WR position compared to others, but he'd get the highest grade of any player relative to his position of anyone I've ever seen.

Also, Williams is no scholar, but he essentially went to school for half his high school career and got no credit for it. He could've had a 4.0 his entire career and still not gotten in.
