shite, you would think LSU had the advantage if Corky from Life Goes On was the recruiting coordinator at LSU.

It won't make that big of a difference since LSU usually cleans up in Louisiana.

LSU is hurting for top notch Dlinemen and the hope is Orgeron will close the deal on a few,Tiger fans are optimistic for many reasons.

The Saban has been building himself a nice little pipeline out of the Monroe area. We're thinking O is the man to shut that shite down and are rightfully happy to see it.

But I don't think its a long term deal. O's performance as interim HC at USCw has washed away the stink of Ole Miss and his name will be floated for every open HC spot in the south for the next year or two.

Fair enough. I'm not saying he's not a great recruiting coach because we all know that he is.

Do you have any idea how many recruiters of the year are on LSU's current staff?

The number might surprise you.

2011 Frank Wilson
2004 Coach Orgeron
2005 Kevin Steele

Both are impressive in their own right, but Orgeron has been at this game a while.

May be true, but we are talking about Orgeron and Pruitt, not the whole staff, right?

Orgeron and Pruitt aren't the only ones talking to a recruit. It's a group effort.

Ah. I see your point now. As pointed out, we have quite a few of those, too.

Personally, I think I think it is between Auburn and Michigan with Michigan in the lead. Although I hear he had a great visit at LSU. Of course, he has said he has had great visits after every visit.

He's an SEC kid. He's not gonna go waste away in Ann Arbor

It's pretty telling that he brought his mom back to Baton Rouge two weeks after visiting for camp. And to say this visit this week was a great one would be an understatement. To say "Gary's recruitment is between ___ and ___" and not include LSU at this point would be a mistake

Gary's top 2, for right now, is looking like LSU/AU.

Lol. You don't have Michigan in the top two.

Mom needs to go to Ann Arbor before Michigan can be in a top 2

She's all about her son in the 4-3. Alabama won't get him because of it. And AU and LSU will run multiple fronts based on the 3-4. Michigan is in great shape to get him.

He's gonna end up in the SEC

And LSU isn't gonna be "based" on the 3-4. It's gonna be mostly 4-3, what they do won't change too much. They will have more multiple fronts where they go 5-2 and 3-4 with a stand up rusher. But it's still gonna be a traditional LSU 4-3. They're gonna have too many good dlineman to run a 3-4

I just don't see it. But if he does, it's LSU. And that could mean Rashard Lawrence to Alabama.

And if Lawrence goes to Bama, LSU flips Raekwon Davis

Haha

I don't agree. I think Davis stays close to home. And believe he plays OL at Alabama.
