The fact that Rashan is back with his mother a week after he just visited LSU can't be encouraging for everybody not named LSU

Go to a 4-3 and be a Nick Fairly type disrupter on the inside, or go to a 3-4 and be a block eater most of the time. I know what I would choose.

The things he was hearing about our 3-4 is just simply not true. At it's simplest form, the nose in the 3-4 is a space eater. But Pruitt doesn't run 3-4 in the traditional sense. We've got 4 down linemen almost half the time. Pruitt would use him like he used Timmy Jernigan at FSU. He was a little more than a space eater if I recall correctly...

There's not a nega bone in O's body. He is chugging red bulls right now and getting ready to demonstrate some technique to Rashan and Momma while the roux is browning.

He had 2 QBH, 11 TFL, & 4.5 sacks.

Similar numbers to A'Shawn Robinson's FR year. Guess what position he plays?

Ok. Those are his personal numbers. If we're in a 4 man front more than half the time, and with the defensive line class we got last year + this year, we'll be in a 4 man front probably 70-80% of the time. You know why? Because Pruitt plays to the strengths of his team. If Gary is good, he'll get his in Pruitt's defense. That's up to him though.

I think i found my favorite bama poster. I'm not kidding either, your comments about other teams mods are on point. It's there job to mislead and stir the pot. Back to Gary... Kids taken so many visits who knows where he ends up, but probably michigan or bama bc they have been on him soooo long

He acts like Pruitt isn't an elite recruiter

Just a FYI for anyone interested LSU will be rotating defensive formations, not exclusively 3-4

I was referring more to why Bama seems to have slipped for him, but Bama has been doing more of what Pruitt does with 4 down linemen lately it seems as well. Spin it how you want, but the only SEC school where he is guaranteed to be at a traditional 4-3 DT position on the vast majority of downs is Auburn as of now. As you said, UGA runs 4 down linemen about half the time and with LSU's upcoming change to a multiple D. Michigan runs a true 4-3 as well as far as I know.

But lets not pretend these kids choose the perfect scheme fit every time, I just heard that he was more interested in playing in a true 4-3 if possible.

A kid that good would be good in any scheme. Lots of great 3-4 DTs in the NFL are making a shite ton of money but they are preaching glamour stats like rushing the passer and getting sacks. The real glamour is having a warrior up front that forces 2 people to block him.

IDK why I thought Harbaugh ran a 3-4 at Stanford and San Fran.

Pruitt is just as good if not a better recruiter than O. Both are better than Jay Harbaugh and Greg Mattison.

Well my pit stains recruit better than Rodney Garner so you don't have to worry about Auburn.
