I bet they wish they had taken Carter now that Etienne has decommitted.

He wouldn't have chosen us over UGA anyways. I think we liked both about the same and Etienne was ready to commit to us and Carter liked UGA more at the time. Sucks now though because it's definitely too late with Carter

Chubb and Michel coming back was unexpected and shrunk the # of available EE slots. Not a great look for UGA, but I'm not sure what their options were.

Yeah he even admitted he had no choice because he's an EE and UGA didn't have a spot for him anymore.

Whoever gets him is going to get a classy kid and a great player. I believe his trainer said that Texas, A&M, and Baylor have reached out to him in the last day.

I doubt they expected to get both of those guys back. Tough break but can't really blame either UGA or Carter. Is the expectation he lands at Texas now?

UGA still wants to take him in June, but apparently he's set on enrolling now. I don't blame him.

Well I know that Ettienne is still at the top of our list so I don't know where that will leave Carter but we do have EE spots available.

UGA really wanted Carter, it was just a numbers thing. With Chubb and Michel returning UGA can now put a full court press on Zamir White, the dawgs still have D'Andre Swift coming in this cycle. He might be the top all purpose back in this class.

Yeah if you're graduating from HS in December then there's no point to wait until June to go to college.

Says pretty much everyone. He's made it clear he wants to play with Trevor Lawrence and he announced he was committing in June right after Lawrence committed to Clemson.
