It was talk around the time they got a commit from Etienne, they started to focus just on Dobbins. Of course the UGA board will hype it up more, but this was on their board a while ago.

Makes sense. A lot of the stuff I found was from early June which coincides with Etienne’s commitment. There was talk that A&M put a lot of pressure on Carter to commit during that timeline. FTR, I wasn’t doubting you, just curious.

I think we were taking one of him or Etienne and he wasn't ready to commit at the time, so we took Etienne.

Congrats UGA. For a while, it was nothing but a Texas A&M/LSU battle, but then you swooped in and got him. He will be another good RB for you guys.

Yep. I was hoping to get Akers and Carter early on but stopped hearing about Carter. He's very talented.

After Andrew Thomas commits in about a hour I believe UGA will move up to #2 in the composite rankings, I really like Carter but Thomas is the real prize today.

We are hoping so. Any time we can pry a recruit away from LSU and Texas A&M, we feel like a good job was done by somebody!
