Good pickup.

Any idea on what this means for Akers?

I don't think we're much of a player for Akers, honestly. I would expect we take Carter and Swift and call it a day.

We've been pretty vocal about taking 2 running backs this class. Most people think Swift is going to be the second guy.

Was supposed to be a cant miss 5-star type of prospect after sophomore year was being recruited by everyone it seemed, then kinda just lulled through junior season and hasnt been much of a camper either. I know we've gone all in on Akers but it even seemed like the next obvious choice in aTm wasn't really putting the pressure on him this year.

We'll get mentioned with Akers but highly doubtful we're a serious contender.

D'andre Swift (#1 APB) is expected to be our 2nd RB of this go round and I'm plenty happy with that.

Im on 247 and they have said they havent been on him like they once were.

Dont think it affects the kind of player Carter is, just think he got bad advice from folks to "save himself" after his sophomore year.

He averaged a yard more per carry

Yes please. While I think Swift is a notch below Akers and Harris, I think he’d make a dynamic 1-2 punch with Carter

Had about 50 less carries and lots of reports he was unwilling to take more carries, hence my got "Bad advice" to save his body from folks influencing him. Where has he been this summer too? Feel like you never hear about him.

Congrats!

(honestly, though, try not to troll the recruiting board. I just mentioned a couple of LSU decommits, and I was loudly reminded how much posters here hate even the appearance of trolling on this board.)

Carter is a great player and a great get, but A&M is really all in on Dobbins unless we lose the kid from Louisiana.
