I seriously doubt Fournette had to be paid. But sure, if you want to think Dupre was, that's fine with me. I don't give a shite if LSU pays players. At all. I wish they'd pay them more so we could get every damn recruit. Give mamma a job too. And dad might need some new wheels.

Perry hasn't heard from LSU in over a year. Amite moved him to corner his junior year and he was terrible. He is definitely a safety. Alabama reached big time. And if I was an Alabama fan the one thing I wouldn't brag about is getting Tony Brown. He was absolutely awful last year. He's stiff not fluid and was torched all year.

That's right. If he doesn't do well his freshman year then he must be a bust. How did Clifton Garrett do? He must be a bust as well since he couldn't break in to the depth chart.

I've just noticed it quite a bit. Obviously, it isn't everyone, but I've seen this schtick a lot, and it is puzzling to me.
I understand it from teams that don't recruit well, such as Kentucky football. LSU recruits very well. When it comes to LSU fans, why do so many of you have this ex-wife syndrome over highly recruited players? You win some and you lose some when you recruit with the big boys.

If Alabama is the only one paying players, how does LSU ever win recruiting battles against us? Do you really think that 17 year olds are turning down thousands of dollars to play in Baton Rouge? Both teams put players in the league, so that is a wash.
I hate Auburn as much as the next guy, but I'd be yelling "war eagle" if they offered thousands of dollars on top of my scholarship.

What's ironic? I'm pretty rational, I think. I don't think all Alabama fans are redneck fricks who yell "Roll Tide!" every time they get busted in a meth lab. I know that's just a small portion of your fan base.

A lot of Bama fans, myself included, have said that Fournette is good, but isn't worthy of the AD hype that he came in with. Frankly, I feel a little bad for him. Anything less than an 1800 yard season is a disappointment given the amount of hype surrounding him.

Quick question. I've seen many examples of Alabama fans being crazy rednecks over football. Poisoning trees, teabagging in public, punching NFL players because they played at LSU, shooting their AU friend over the Iron Bowl, shooting their wife over the Iron Bowl, etc etc..does that mean I can now classify all Alabama fans as crazy redneck lunatics? I mean, I personally don't think so, but then again
