It's been known that Perry was very high on the Bama boards as a safety prospect for several weeks now. I don't know or care where other programs have him ranked.
As far as the accusations of package deal for Shyheim Carter, well... I guess it would be interesting if we finally decided to begin playing that game. Seeing as how we've refused to do it and lost several prospects (even committed ones) in recent years to other programs doing it to us, it would be a new thing.
Then again, I've learned my lesson about arguing with other fans on here. People will believe what they want to believe. It's useless.

It's quite possible he wasn't high on the LSU board. Who cares either way? It's been said for weeks now that he was high on the Bama board.

I never said money was involved and I don't think the person I'm referring to is in need like that. I know Shyheim personally and has given him money to go to camps at BAMA and LSU! This person drove or paid someone to drive them to camps. I just know of his involvement and how he feels about LSU.

His name hasn't been brought up in a long time. Whether you like it or not, LSU has safeties on the board higher than him. Congrats and good luck to him though.

Perry was offered around this time last year by us and tried to commit but was told to wait (I even remember a story being run about his commitment then it turned out they didn't accept it), then he followed that up with a really bad junior year at CB so we weren't recruiting him anymore with the bigger fish we have on the table at DB. This definitely secures Carter to Bama though, not that I thought he was flipping anyways. Those 2 are tight.
This could also be a play for Devonta Smith (2017 recruit) who is he is also tight with. LSU offered him recently and he's a good one.

Yes, he was pissed when big Ed didn't go for game! He also tried to get involved with my best friend's son at STA. He's already started on another kid in Kentwood.

No doubt, that's true. However, given that since 2010 (first year Saban's Bama recruits would be draft eligible) Bama has had 5 DBs selected in the 1st round and LSU has had 3 I would say there is a long line that would like to play DB at Bama, too.
