That's my only concern. You don't think he's already got him on LSU's weight program? You don't think what you see is what you get? Not being sarcastic, honest question.
I think he may have let him do what he wants to do until now. Now he's a guy in his S&C program, so he will definitely have to follow orders now. Depending on where Moffitt ends up, if that's on the DL at DE or TE, he really does only need put on about 20-30 pounds to end up playing those spots at proper size. Now if we're talking OL, then that's a whole different story.

He's the summer before senior year. He's not the strength coach's son who is also already 19 like Sanders was.

Most college coaches are very systematic when it comes to strength training for their kids been around a lot of coaches kids and they are far from finished products out of high school, but tend to be better overall athletes. Are they likely ahead of most kids, yes, but typically it's a progressive thing and they are far from done. I think of Robert Peace or the West Monroe coaches son in particular, both were stud athletes but could grow more. Peace added another 15-20 in college

Fair enough. I've heard nothing but good things about him. Heard he was the best player in the Dome this past year.

No it doesn't concern me but it is a little strange that guys like Moffit, Kirkland and Tory carter are getting offered while they are still juniors and you have guys like josh Clarke and Bryan jones who are getting slow played.

Different positions.
Clarke is a LB and we know our targets there (and have plenty).
Jones is an academic risk for starters and second doesnt really have a position in a 3-4 which is the biggest concern. He's way too small to be a 3-4 DE while also lacking strength and has no pass rush ability to stand up to be a 3-4 OLB. Next logical step is 3-4 ILB but we like other guys there way more.

His hudl highlights are full of that Rummel game. Looks like he dominated.

Yea but Kirklin plays wr/cb which is a position we can be very selective at and moffit does not have a position either.

Jontre Kirklin is a stud. Kid can jump through the roof. He'll be great on offense or defense

Kirklin will be a CB or possibly FS. He is an elite athlete and absolutely a good early take.

Kirklin at The Opening Regionals: 6' 170 4.63 40, 4.35 shuttle, 30 powerball, 41.8" vert
He can definitely jump out of the gym.

Yeah him being 5'11 really doesn't matter, he can cover any tall guy with ease. I kind of like him as a free range FS too.

They aren't really getting slow played, the staff tells these kids to camp during the summer and after close evaluation the offer will come. There was an article last week where a kid stated that he was waiting for the lsu offer after camp (Ole miss commitment can't remember the name.)

Watch Kirklins film and it will explain everything. Criminally underrated!

I am baffled that Brennan and Helaire are not 4 stars
