We just got a little excited for that game. Meanwhile 2008 Florida seems to be the consensus shitty game.

Geeze, I've guessed I've gotten kinda lucky.
1. USC in Athens 2009
UA was playing some cupcake that day, and my UGA buddies had been asking me to come down. During the day I was actually not really drinking because of a horrible cocaine hangover so I remember everything pretty well. Before the game everyone was pretty civil around North Campus, afterwards it was completely different. Walking around I saw shite thrown(and poured) at USC fans, USC fans being threatened with their children, one dude actually walking up to multiple USC fans asking them if they wanted their faces bashed in. Complete shite show.
2. UA at USC 2010
Day started of well and USC fans were pretty friendly, during the game the nonstop techno gave me a headache but oh well. After the is when things took a turn. USC just won the biggest game they've ever played and you could tell. Walking out there was constant shite talking, even including the local fire dept who told me to "roll your arse outta here". Outside of the stadium was anarchy, everytime a USC would see me I'd get the "we're about to kick your arse" look. As me and my buddy are walking away in the parking lot we come under a barrage of beer cans and bottles. We stopped for a second to look(and possibly confront) but when we saw a group of 50 targeting us we bailed. IIRC a UA fan ran over and killed a USC fan that night while he was trying to get away from the madness

Went there in 2011 and had Zero issues with anything. It was one of my more enjoyable road trips

Alabama last time we played over there.
After we won, apparently I was celebrating too flagrantly so some frat douches ripped my LSU hat off my head and took off for their frat house. When I followed to retrieve said hat, their security escorted me off the property while they ripped up my hat and jumped my friend.
I would love to see those guys again.

LOL, there have been about 6 or 7 different people on here saying how shitty UF fans are. I didn't say anything about Florida because I have never been there. But I have dealt with them in BR, and they are terrible, just not a fun group of people. Don't get rustled just because your fanbase sucks arse.

I don't indict the entire fan base on that one game but they were truly a miserable group of people that night. Lot of pent up frustration came out of those little miscreants. I was honestly surprised our fans weren't more hostile toward them this year like they were to AU fans in 2011 pre game.

Yea sounds like at this point that
1) The 2008 Florida contingent seems to be the most commonly referred to by all
2) 2012 UGA @ USCe seems to be the one game that a fan base kind of all agrees was their worst
Well done, gents

I liked all the UGA fans I met at the SEC Championship game in Atlanta in 2011. Going to Sanford for the 1st time this year

True story.
No idea. I was walking back toward the campus direction from that strip of bars. It was on the corner of the block closest to the strip on the right hand side.

i've been pretty luck too...
the two worst were Knoxville 1999 and last year in Starkville... had nothing to do with the fans, just our performance on the field... AU threw a pick six on the first play of the game in 99 and got shut out... and last year at state was miserable.
most of my away game experiences have been good... 2005 in Athens is probably the best... 2006 Bama a close 2nd. two weekends i'd love to relive... nothing like going to away games as a student.

I have had mixed experiences at Florida 2008 sucked, but 2010 I had a really good time.

Knoxville in 2006. LSU 28-Vols 24
We knocked off a top ten team with a last second TD pass from Jamarcus Russell to Early Doucet. Unbelievable game winning drive that included muliple 4th down conversions. JR was an absolute beast on that drive. We were on the top row of the stadium and went ballistic when Doucet caught that ball. So much that I accidentally knocked my brother's hat over the side of the stadium. We ended up finding it after the game too (CSB). At the time, it was only the second win LSU had ever gotten in Knoxville. Saw many o vol tears on the way out of that one. That win lead to a sugar bowl win and a top 3 final ranking. Sweetness! I sat next to this LSU old timer that game and it reinforced how much I like talking to older fans. Older fans, no matter the school usually, have seen the ups and downs of their program and have a wealth of great stories to tell. We had a bad experience with some of the younger LSU fans tailgating and at gameday (mainly cause my sign said "Oeauxverrated" ) but that guy just brushed them off saying they have only been alive to see the recent LSU, not the one he grew up watching.
Dude proceeded to help talk me off the bridge after Georgia gave up in the 2nd half in 2011 and I gained a ton of respect for the LSU program in general because of him and realized that old fans are awesome and the young bucks like me for each school friggin suck.

Ole Miss - Egg Bowl 2012
Was walking back to my camper and these three Sigma Nu guys just stepped up to me, talking smack. I grabbed one by the neck and slammed him to the ground while I uppercutted another one with my other arm. The third ran off and returned with a golf cart full of more Sigma Nu bros(about six of them).
They ran at me in sequence, which was perfect for me, I front kicked the first one, he was pretty fat and I was on a hill, so like a boulder he went rolling back, knocking down the rest. With the rest on the ground, I ran down the hill soccer kicking most of them unconscious.
One of their girlfriends were standing there, amazed and obviously aroused by my masculinity. I grabbed her while her cuckolded Sigma Nu boyfriend yelled, "Bro, that's my girl." and took their golf cart. In the end, I got herpes, pretty bad experience at an away game.

I can understand the 2008 UGA game since it followed 2007 and people were pissed, but I'm surprised by the 2008 UF-USC game being listed. Generally these games are pretty tame and most UF fans tend to like USC because of Spurrier.

Norte Dame.
Worst ever.
And totally overrated.

I have heard Florida can be a nasty trip.
The cops look for an excuse to arrest you. If you step on the sidewalk with a beer they will write you a ticket. If you stand up and cheer for your team when they do something good the old Florida fans get a cop and have him threaten to throw you out. They are zero fun. Prior to the game my friend was waving a LSU flag at the Gator pedestrians and yelling Geaux Tigers. A cop told him he had to put it away because the stick it was on was considered a weapon and if he refused he was going to arrest him. So yeah frick the Florida police.

Alabama 2009 ... sat in bama section because one of the coaches is a friend and got us tickets. He wasn't real happy when he heard our expierence and apologized on behalf of the fans. Worst winners ever!!
This game (and probably the 2010 Auburn game) was one of the very few times I can honestly say that an opposing fanbase had every right to complain about the home fans. I've never seen Alabama fans so ornery after a win as the 2009 LSU game. A lot of pent up frustration was released and LSU fans were the targets. I can't defend against that one.
