2000 @ UGA.

UGA girls were spitting at random Vol fans as they walked by. It was ten years of pent up aggression, and it wasn't pretty.

I was at the game. Don't recall it being too hostile from what I saw, but wouldn't shock me. Vol fans in their heyday were by far the shite talkingest visiting fanbase I've ever seen.

I've never encountered anything other than light ribbing at away games. Haven't been to many, but the ones I have attended are Bama 2008, where they just knew they were going to end our streak, and I was there for Soulja Boy in 2007 in Athens but I was with a large group of Auburn people so we didn't get messed with much.

Ole Miss in 2010 was funny because they were so bad and nobody gave us any crap.

I think not being a drunk arse yourself helps in not getting messed with. If we could have seen the buildup between some of these incidents in this thread, I'm sure the people experiencing bad fans weren't angels themselves.

1996 Bama @ UT - Was a student at Bama at the time and went up without tickets in hopes of finding reasonably priced ones. Never found any. We watched the 1st half with some UT fans at their tailgate and they were awesome folks. Fed us and gave us tons of beer. Just before haltime we decided to start heading back to Bama and stop somewhere right outside of town and watch the 2nd half. Stopped at a Chili's or Applebee's, don't really remember. Grab a booth in the bar area right next to a table of stereotypical UT hillbilly fans. They immediately started in on us, and at first we took it in stride. The girls in both parties escalated it, and we ended up out in the parking lot in a huge brawl. 3 of us, 5 of them, so obviously we took the worst of it. Cops were called, but they made no arrests. Went home with a fat lip and bruised ribs, but I did break my hand on a guy's face.

Haven't been back to Knoxville since.

I remember UF where the cops came into the stands and made everyone sit down. like wtf!! it was when Lee was QB and a rough game. Just basic UF obnoxiousness. We did put a bunch of LSU stickers all over their bleachers though. a small moral victory

Did they yell, "If you aren't first, you're last" at you before the brawl?

2009 @ UT - I don't know what it was about that year, maybe it was hiring Kiffin, but the UT fans were acting really dickish. Took my son into McDonalds for a Coke, 2 drunk frat boys start in on him (he was 14) and then me....ok, no biggie.

My daughter, who was 9 at the time, was really into saying "War Eagle!" to any Auburn fans that walked by, for some reason she really thought it was cool. So after the game, walking back to the car, my daughter mistakenly said "War Eagle" to this fat arse UT coed who screamed "Go frick yourself!!!" to my daughter....I absolutely lost my mind, got up in her face and in my best NCO voice told her "YOU DON'T TALK THAT WAY TO MY DAUGHTER YOU FAT count!!"....she started crying, said she was sorry and waddled away.

Texas last weekend. Never seen fans talk so much smack after getting such a small lead. They Shut the fug up in the 2nd half, but you can tell they would be unbearable when they are winning. Also forget what you heard about Austin. They have some redneck arse fans.

its a tie

Colorado 1995 - students threw beers at us inside and outside of the stadium, ran up to old Ags (like blue hair, trouble walking old) and were screaming "F-CK YOU" in their faces, the visitors seats face a brick wall, said seats also have a giant arse bush that flowers and attracts bees behind them, there were several small scuffles and shoving matches that I saw, and we lost.

Texas Tech 1995 - the very next game I went out to Lubbock where once again had full beers tossed at me (I was 13 when they did this shite), we had frozen tortillas thrown at us, some prick (not even a student) called my mother an Aggie count but waited to to it until my father had gone to the bathroom and ran off like a punk when another Ag came to her defense, the officiating was absolutely horrid and was on the level of the Tech/TCU game from the other night bad where we had a couple TDs called back for BS, we lost our 20 some odd SWC winning streak due to a Zach Thomas pick 6, and all the cars with Aggie flags/stickers in the area where we parked got egged.

A season that was to potentially be a national title run was ruined and our complete dominance of the SWC ended opening the door for Texas to get the final SWC title. Needless to say it was a shitty two weeks.

on a side note, my GF is a former member of the Buffs marching band and she says their own fans threw batteries at them regularly and my sister went to CSU and was at the CU/CSU game that was tear gassed by cops so I sometimes feel like I got off lucky.

Only problems I've ever had were at the 2009 Egg bowl. Random guy walks into a buddies tent and slapped me from the side. I threw him on a table and my buddy nearly killed him. Later that night, guy tried to fight me at mugshots because I was in "his seat" at the bar.

Memphis State when Bill Curry was coaching at Bama.
No big deal with the fans, we just lost to Memphis State. Ridiculous.

Little Rock. Largest % of tshirt fans who come in town for their 2 weekend a year blowout and spend their wad getting buttwasted and acting like jackasses. It is a miserable stadium with miserable non-alums who are just there to act like they are a part of everything. 90% of them have never set foot in Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville. Ark really does have two entirely different fan bases within one state due to playing in 2 different parts of the state for decades.

easily the south carolina game last year. holy shite, what a bunch of frickers.

we watched it a south carolina tailgate that we went to with friends from sc. there were a bunch of ga people there and the tailgate was fantastic leading up to the game. the game starts and we go to one of the tents to watch. the uga people sit/stand together, as do the sc people and it starts with fun back and forths and is going well.

then south carolina scores and shite hits the fan. they opened up beers and drinks and just started pouring them all over us (there were plenty of girls getting drenched, which was kinda fricked up). i decide to orchestrate all the georgia fans to fill up drinks and shite because we are about to drive down and score and turn this into a war. turns out, that never happens bc we sucked and it was the worst 4 hours ever.

the walk back was worse. i hate that place.

auburn. long ago (LSU only played y'all occasionally). drove a converted van with spare tire on the rear doors. the tire cover was stolen and the tire was slashed. at least they didn't slash any other tires; maybe someone came along and scared 'em off. anyway, in a crowd of 100,000 football fans there are always some immature and intoxicated fools. one hopes that they grow up and harbor long term guilt for being such jerks.

It sounds like USCe fans fricking suck. You're like the 5th person or maybe more to mention that game.

i have been to the swamp twice and to several lsu vs uf games in tiger stadium and have nothing but good things to say about gator fans. sure, i got harassed but it was good natured. even today, gator fans come out of the wordwork when i'm in my lsu gear and give me hell but once again, it's good natured stuff. i never give anybody any shite at football games and maybe that's why i haven't seen much of the bad stuff.
