The Choke at Doak. Not a loss, but it sure felt like it. Terrible.

Look at the 4th quarter in the box score.

I decided that it was slightly less embarrassing than this abortion of a football game. At least we were expected to lose like that back in the 90s.

If not for this one I'd go with Arkansas State in '08 - a home game!. But that OU beatdown was one for the ages and (hopefully) can never be replaced.

3-2 game hurts, but not much hurts more than Maine.

fricker destroyed our program. I think he went on a span in which only recruited 2-3 offensive linemen in 3 recruiting classes or something. Unreal. Then Sherman follows up with a disastrous loss to Arkansas State. We took a lot of beatings during the Sherman era too. 2010 was alright, but got smacked in the CB. 2011 starts off with promise, and the season shatters before our eyes. Holy shite, that was such a devastating season as a fan. I started to hate Sherman and all of his stupid play calls and lack of interaction/emotion during games. Team shatted everything away and couldn't hold a lead. Its like they were jinxed or something. Thank God for Sumlin.

YESSIR!

The only issue I have with your post is mentioning Fran and Sherman in the same paragraph. To me they aren't close. Fran was a complete disaster in every aspect of football.

Thank you! I was beginning to think that the LSU fans on this thread thought the question was the last two years instead of the last 20. For me:
quote:

10-09-1993 @ LSU 3, UF 58

was the most depressing (and I stayed in Tiger Stadium to the end and wallowed in the misery of it all) and
quote:

09-17-1994 LSU 26, AU 30

Nothing compares to this game. Nothing. I suppose for some LSU fans it might have the redeeming virtue of getting Curley Hallman fired. Not for me. LINK has embedded video if you want to see how bad it was. I still can't believe it. Any middle-school coach wouldn't have been that dumb.

For LSU it was 2012 Alabama.

21-0 was brutal obviously.

I guess a bunch of shite from the 90s.

For AU it was 2004 SEC Championship Game. After winning by 10 (taking a knee inside the 10 at the end of the game) - AU suffered the worse loss at the hands of ESPN, the Polls, and every other knuckle head correspondent in the history of College Football. All I kept hearing was how AU needed to win by 30 to jump USC or OU. I think thats why we dog smacked USC in 2010. Ghosts of 2004.

The worst I've ever felt at a game, watched the whole damn thing at Williams Brice.

Hated watching that one. Tiffin couldn't hit the broad side of a barn that day.
