Tennessee, 2010... wait...

But seriously, I've never been more enraged after a victory.

Although the loss to Alabama in the 2012 BCSNCG was difficult to swallow after an historic 13-0, 500-123 regular season featuring 9 bowl teams and four top 3 opponents; IMO,the 2012 give-away to Bama last November was even worse.
Why? Because LSU could have potentially faced Notre Dame in the title game had Alleman made the FG or LSU gotten one more first down against Bama.
(assuming we would have beaten UGA in the SECCG, which would admittedly, have been a tall order.)

UK 2011 - far more embarrassing than losing to Wyoming IMO.

77-0 in 2003 vs OU

All points were scored in the first 3 quarters
OU scored on 10 of their first 11 drives. They stopped trying in the 4th, might as well have been in victory formation.

Oh well, 43-19

I had planned on saying UCLA 2000, the game that sent out season into a tailspin. But I was thinking we had gotten destroyed in that one. I just checked the score and it didn't look too bad. Did we score a couple times in mop up or something. Any Alabama fans remember?

Wasn't there an LSU fan with this same username that used to always flame Ole Miss on the recruiting board?

2005 MTSU. We outgained them almost 2-1 in yards, and held an 11 minute advantage in time of possession. It shouldn't have been close. The line didn't even try to block for the kicker to win the game at the end. The game cost Cutler a bowl game. Plus, I'm from Murfreesboro, so it really, really sucked.

I think Rebel fans could fill 10 pages alone, it is that hard to pick the worse.

I would go with LSU 2003, lost 17-14. Our "Best Kicker in the Nation" missed 2 FGs and Eli ended it by being tripped by a lineman. Our best shot at Atlanta so far.

We also lost to Memphis and Texas Tech that same year, but went 7-1 in the SEC .

Bama scored on Millon's punt return to start the game and then UCLA pretty much dominated the rest of the half until Bama scored right before the half. An interception returned for a touchdown gave Bama the lead early in the second half but UCLA scored a TD on the ensuing drive to take it back. They then scored another one and that was it. This is IIRC.

We held this same prolific OU offense to: a 2 yard drive after a blocked LSU punt (and even then it took OU 6 times to get in); and a 30 yard drive after intercepting LSU. OU got half of their 140 total yards in the last 8 minutes of the game.
We would have done the same to USC.....

2004 Mississippi state. Ron Zook was so bad he took that talented Florida team and lost to a school that had previously been beaten by MAINE!!!

I wonder what I am thinking of then, maybe just because I was young it seemed a lot worse cause we were ranked #3. God that was a terrible season.

2012 LSU.

Due to the fact that apparently a 5 point win means you completely dominated every facet of the game.

What was the score with 1:30 to go in the 4th quarter? 24-12 is the correct answer. WTF was A&M doing between midway through the second and the end of the game? No points were scored besides that garbage touchdown. The game was already wrapped up and LSU's pass defense relaxed a little which allowed you to score a garbage touchdown. The same thing happened in the South Carolina game. South Carolina needed a huge play on Defense and Special Teams and a garbage touchdown to make the game look close.
