No Shane Matthews? Two time SEC player of the year
he was a good'n too. We've been very fortunate to have had so many great QBs at UF that I just couldn't list them all. We've hit a dry spell recently, but maybe Del Rio can become the next great Gator quarterback. Fingers crossed.

One day we'll finally have a QB go on to have a great pro career too.

I like Todd Ellis, but the problem I have with him is that he basically just played "let's chuck it to sterling sharpe, open or not"

That's why he ended up with a TD-INT ratio of 49-73.

But for real that's a tough one. David Greene won a ton of games. Murray was just so damn tough. And Stafford was the most talented to play for us.

Chase Daniel would be the most popular pick by the fan base but I like Brad Smith. He wasn't the thrower that Daniel was but given the same group of skill talent CD had in 2007 and 2008, he would have been hard to contain.

Either Tebow Spurrier or Wueffrel. Grossman does not belong in the same category as those 3. Nor does Leak. Grossman and Leak were good but there's no reason to call them UF legends.

I really think Tebow's getting screwed in the NFL.

Historically, I would say Eli or Archie but I think Chad will leave Ole Miss as the best QB we've had statistically. Then we get to see Sheababy.

Joe Ferguson. Never had an outstanding team around him, college or NFL, but the best.

Recently, Mallett.

Yea, we haven't had a ton of great QBs. Joe Ferguson or Ron Calcagni were probably the two best college career QBs we have produced.
