Id say Eli. Wish he had an nfl caliber wr while he was here.

Chad does have an outstanding arm and great play making abilities. Will be interesting to see what he can do outside of freezes system.

Nice work. Have an up vote.

On another note, surprised to not see Tarkenton's name mentioned by any of the UGA fans.

I'm glad I could brighten up your day with a laugh but we both know what really matters is who's laughing when the clock hits zero this fall in Neyland Stadium. You better hope you finally win this one :)

Steve Spurrier is Florida's best QB all time. if you don't believe me go back and check your schools won/loss records before he QB'ed and immediately after he graduated.

and (not related, I know), he changed SEC football as a coach. DB's used to be converted WR's (those that couldn't catch) in the SEC. defenses were built to stop the run. nickel and dime packages were unheard of. Spurrier wrecked some shite man.

His last year he threw for 3,129 yards, 28 touchdowns and 8 interceptions. He had weapons like Early Doucet, Dwayne Bowe, Brandon LaFell, Trindon Holliday, and Craig Davis to use.

Last year Brandon Allen threw for 3,440 yards, 30 TDs and 8 interceptions. No superstar weapons and most of his wideouts won't even be drafted or will be drafted in the later rounds for the most part. He did that in an offense predicated on the run and an offensive line made of road graters mostly.

Jamarcus Russell was always about potential, not production.

Hodson > Russell... Hodson was All-SEC and won an SEC title as a true freshman. Jamarcus couldn't beat out Marcus Randall as a R.Fr. Hodson finished his career with 2 SEC Titles as compared to none for Jamarcus.

I dont get the love for j. Russell. All i remeber him doing is usually fuumbling the ball at least every other game and making boneheaded plays. Can someone list some games where he was great from start to finish. Id like to rewatch. Sure he lead some comebacks but the only reason they were comebacks because of what he did prior.Tommy H. was the best LSU Qb followed by R. Davey in my lifetime.

Johnny Football is clearly #1 for A&M. For the rest, I'd go

Bucky Richardson - could really get the crowd fired up like nobody outside JFF. Cotton Bowl MVP against Notre Dame and ran (x2), threw, and caught a TD pass in the Holiday Bowl beatdown of BYU.

Stephen McGee was another fan favorite and went on to back up Romo.

Kevin Murray would probably be higher w/o injuries and being an a-hole.
