Yeah because AU won games last year with thier 100th ranked offense. AU won games in spite of Malzahn last year. It was real difficult to crack the code of 1st down, Dyer up the middle for no gain; 2nd down, sweep to Omac for 2 yards; 3rd and long, bubble screen for no gain; PUNT.

IMO it's amazing Chiz was able to win 8 games in 09' and 11' with the crew they had. Take into consideration the horrible defenses the Chris Todd's and White Cams. AU could have easily been 5 or 6 win teams both last year and in 09. Even with Cam there were a lot of comeback wins and close games that many coaches could have blown.

Yeah Dooley is probably the worst coach in the SEC right now. He was certainly the least qualified HC of the bunch. All of the other coaches on the list at least had prior coordinator experience or won big at smaller programs before they were hired by their SEC schools. Dooley had neither. He never had to call plays or devise a gameplan in his life. At least Joker was a really good OC for Kentucky when he had Andre Woodson at QB. He has some skills as a coach. Dooley has none.

Because Sumlin is a better coach.

I agree. Les isn't a bad coach by any stretch but he's no Nick Saban. Nobody is.

3-3

More like 3-1. Crystal matters.
Or perhaps you think winning in November is the same as winning in January. Great ones come through when it counts. Miles is good. Saban is great.

wrong. their head to head record is 3-3, so i'd say neither one is clearly ahead of the other.
By this logic Mike Leach is a better coach than Les Miles.

Sumlin lost his starter and backup in the same quarter of football. That offense that year was still top 15 in the nation with the guy that was 4th string the day the injuries happened.
Sumlin is also a 2 time Bear Bryant Coach of the Year Finalist

Also, inherited his team from Briles. Did I say that?
A&M can win, but Sumlin was a HORRIBLE hire.

What does that matter? He coached the games. Are you implying Briles is a better recruiter than CKS?
