Just get rid of these stupid divisions altogether. Rotate all the teams through save 1 or 2 permanents.

Put AU in the ACC. Then they will not have to ever play LSU or Bama.
Then the chicken shits will be happy.

UGA/AU is still relevant and has been a competitive game in recent memory

Not really. UGA kicked Auburn's teeth down their throat in 2012 and 2011. Sure it was close this year, but the tenn/bama game came down to the final play in '09 too. The only difference is that a different team has won when the game is close. Both series have featured arse whippings lately with a close game mixed in, the difference is bama wins the close ones, AU/uga split.

Perhaps as a fan, because you're a pussy. As far as the players go however, there is much more respect and competitive sportsmanship in the actual game when auburn and bama play than the thuggery and vitriol that accompanies an auburn/uga game. Lately anyway.

Support. Helps our recruiting (main reason the gumps got scared and blocked it in the first place).

Restores our primary and historic rivalries.

Might cause us to be associated less with the halfwits on the mississippi border.

Win, win, win.

Make it happen.

How exactly does a move to the east help Auburn's recruiting?

Guess you missed the part where a Bama spokesperson gave it as one of the reasons Bama blocked it in the first place.

Anyway, not gonna waste my time explaining it to you.

Auburn victim complex where the only reason they're not on Notre Dame level of all time legacy is because of Alabama conspiring to screw them over

Really? I'll play...playing more games in both GA & FLA, closer to their recruit's families...ya that might help.

What do I win?

There seems to be a lot of sentiment that an AU/Mizzou switchis no problem. Hopefully the powers-that-be will start to share this.

If they did I wished they would switch our permanent opponent to ya'll but I doubt it. Would ya'll prefer A&M or Mizzou?

They play every other year in Georgia anyway and they're right on the border as it is. Neither of those two things would change with a move to the east. Florida recruits either stay in state or they don't, and there are so many that talented kids leave every year. Auburn has had a lot of success in ft. Lauderdale over the years. I doubt an extra 2 games every 8 years in the state of Florida is going to get them a kid they wouldn't have gotten anyway. It's a retarded argument. Changing divisions within a conference isn't going to help or hurt anyone's recruiting.

Neither tbh as I'm sure most would want to keep playing LSU? But if I had to pick, I guess the Aggies?

Also, a Mizzou poster did point out the affect a move to the West would have on their recruiting considering all of the changes they've made the past few years. Which is a fair point but they could go back to their natural recruiting areas in the West while keeping those newly built pipelines open cause who knows how long any change would last

It's about more than recruiting when you consider that UF and to a lesser extent Tennessee used to be big games for Auburn.

Most importantly, there's also the fact that geographically, Auburn is in the East but don't let facts get in the way

Hadn't thought about that but Mizzou, actually located in the Midwest, needs to figure out how to use the biggest recruiting tool in that area the other teams (NU, Illinois, tOSU, Oklahoma, etc) don't have..."You can compete against the best athletes in the country...the SEC."
