SunHog,

I like you buddy...you know that.

But you don't even live in Arkansas. You left for greener pastures.

Therefore, you have no credibility in this issue nor do you really care.

I am currently investing in my college town and own a business there. I have skin in the game.

Personally, I don't really care whether NWA becomes a major hub for business, industry, etc. I like it anyway.

I agree, I think it's pretty perfect as is.

Y'all are what Austin was 20 years ago. A really nice place to live. Don't sell out like they did. Austin is awful now.

The Atlanta metro is five times the size of OKC. There are more people the ATL than the state of Oklahoma.

All trolling aside, NWA is idyllic. I'd love to retire to there, actually.

All trolling aside, if I didn't get panic attacks every time I leave Texas, I would too.

NWA needs to focus on it's strengths like duck, deer, turkey, fishing.

Target boomers retiring.

A place to raise your grandkids.

Profit.

Yes it is, the metro.

However, its exactly why I asked earlier what type of business are we talking about?

Downtown infill correlated with ecommerce and retail business is the future of liberalized cities. Los Angeles continues rapid growth just like Tokyo, Japan and London despite skyrocketing living expenses.

The Toyota plants left California for Texas to manufacturer. That was a 40 year $40 billion dollar decision because of the based economy type and economics of scale they can take advantage of in Texas.

Back to the topic.

Are you siding with NWA and Helena won't grow or have another massive transformation with a $50MM year infrastructure build in both location up until 2020?

I visited family there once while I was at A&M. I pretended to hate it. I cried when I got back to CSTX and saw Blocker and Zachary.

NWA? Of course. Tech, engineering, car manufzcotes, aerospace, and steel have transformed Alabama's economy in the past decade. Similar investments in Arkansas will do the same. If they're in areas that have potential.

The Delta? I'll believe it when I see it.

Got a chance to go to Fayetteville for Ags&Bacon last year and enjoyed the surroundings immensely.

Pay is based on cost of living. I make half of what my colleagues in northern CA make. I can also buy 3x the the house around ATL than they can.

Would you rather make 90k in DC or 40k in NWA?

So people in Ark who are making 25K move to Atlanta to make 50k. They might live in a smaller house, but the are able to do much more things at an earlier stage in life. I have been to Northern CA and ATL, I would rather take my chances with a bloated cost of living.

Wish I had done something similar in CSTX. Respect.
