Ever heard the Pat Dye tapes with the Ramsey kid?

I heard them. A kid with a wife, and a baby, came asking for help. Dye helped him out. Not one tape shows where Auburn went to him first. Ramsey was always the one asking for help. We should have just set up one of his parents in a house right outside of Auburn.
HORSE shite!! Terry Bowden describes the Lowder/Dye "payplan" in detail with Wayne Hall used as the bag man. Bud, you're REALLY on the wrong side of this discussion!

That's where i would disagree with you greatly.

Auburn has played 3 games against good teams this year.
In those 3 games Auburn has scored, 13, 16 and 18 points. Not good.
I hate to admit, that your defense has held up well. I honestly thought the defense would take a step back losing Muschamp and adding Steele.

All that said....I really would be shocked if Auburn hired Briles in any capacity. He's going to be poison for quite awhile, I would think. Who knows, though. You know Auburn better than i do.

Do Alabama fans really believe Alabama doesn't pay its players?

This week will tell a lot. We did what we were supposed to do against a couple of inferior opponents...something we haven't done in a couple of years.
The playcalling has been better since the LSU game (even though we didn't get a TD) when he turned it over to Lashlee. We have a stable of young receivers who are actually catching the ball and a couple of dynamic young running backs.

And he was so credible, it led to what kind of NCAA investigation? Nobody believed the fat little drunk and that's why nobody but senile old Alabama fans even bring up shite like that from 25 years ago.

Yeah but I bet he and his buddy Redfish still get together to listen to the Cecil Newton tapes every week.

Well, you certainly did better than we did against Nicholls, that's for sure!

For all of LSUs problems, defense has not been one of them. They will hold a lot of teams down, scoring wise. It is beginning to look like they MIGHT have their offensive woes ironed out with Orgeron.

Don't remind me. Georgia wanted a couple of them badly, and we needed them. However, now that Ridley is healthy, I am hoping that little problem will be solved.

I didn't read it because Pete Thamel. But, I can only imagine he insinuates that AU is quick to can a coach who is not performing. I've seen that same sentiment often on this board.

# of head coaches (not counting interim) each SEC school has had since 1986

Vandy - 8
Alabama - 7
Arkansas - 7
Kentucky - 7
OM - 7
LSU - 6
Florida - 6
South Carolina - 6
Texas A&M - 5
Auburn - 5
Georgia - 5
Tennessee - 5
Mizzou - 5
MSU - 4

So what is incorrect about what I said?

And why was Alabama almost perpetually in trouble with the NCAA since the alleged Terry Bowden tapes? And why has Auburn not faced a single NCAA sanction for football since then?
