I wouldn't, and since no obviously isn't enough of an answer for you. Saban in his 5 years here won more than 8 games just twice. In Miles' 7 season on the bayou he has won 11 or more games 5 times

Wrong... They were on an uptick the year prior to his arrival when the sanctions were lifted. They were historically good.

you really are dumb. they had won 14 games in the previous four years when he got there.

Recruiting at a school like Alabama is so much easier than at say Vandy, Texas Tech, Ole Miss, MSU, USCe etc...

I don't think Saban is near the villain that many portray him as. He felt he'd done all he could at LSU and wanted to try his hand at something else -- the next logical step. It didn't work out as he wanted, he wished to go back to coaching in college in the SEC, and Alabama was the job available. I'm sure in retrospect he probably would have just stayed at LSU, but I think the fact that he left and then came back to another school that LSU has to play left them feeling slighted. I understand that, but I don't think it's entirely fair to Saban.

Im not an LSU fan, i just call them like i see thwem, unlike the bammers who think he's some sort of fricking god because he cheats more than the rest of the coaches and lies to everyone.

You don't call them like you see them, you are just bitter. Dang, get some therapy. It must be sad being you.

Coaches who built programs. If we are talking active coaches: OBC, Mike Leach(what he was able to do at Tech was impressive, I don't give a frick what you say about that), and any other coach that has taken a program off life support and achieved success.

...and I'll be appreciative for everything he's done, he won us two NC's. Unlike the LSU fanbase who still bitch and moan about how he was so mean to us. Wah wah wah. It's like you guys are some physco ex girlfriends who cant get over being dumped. Pathetic. So know all they can do is say he cheats, and is slimy.

I don't say he cheats I say he begs, Proof--> LSU NCG, Bama NCG 2011. Begging at LSU led to Slimy exit by Saban. He is Slimy for the I am not leaving LSU type comments then next thing we see is his plane landing in Miami.

Bear Bryant's first ten years at Alabama and Joe Paterno's first decade at PSU about the same as Saban's 1st decade in the SEC

Steve Spurrier was florida 12 years. he won one title. Saban has won 3 titles since joining the SEC (12 years ago), despite being at two different programs and having two fewer seasons from coaching at miami.

Yet only tou get to define what "building a program" means.

I already provided ample proof why saban is better than spurrier.

Mike LEach? Really? Mike Price had three top 10 finishes at Wash St. Lets see if LEach can pull that. (Damn you're funny)

Exactly.

Winning at a program that hasn't ever been shite is hard. So very hard. That takes amazing coaching. Winning with a stacked roster and having close to, if not, the most resources in CFB is just expected.

3 conference championships and 3 NC's, done while taking two programs mired in mediocrity at time of hire. I think Coach Bryant did even better in 70's than 60's. As a LSU fan I hope this doesn't occur with Coach Saban.

If spurrier is so good, why does he have a third the number of national titles that nick saban does?
