Saban's age may come into play at a rebuilding job.

Yes. The man is a 24/7 football coach. He still has a lot of years left and I think he will continue to coach a few years after his current contract.

They don't realize that with the talent Bama has that Houston Nutt's moobs could win there.

Staying at Alabama would be apples to oranges as it relates to rebuilding an Ole Miss

This is true, but it was Saban that got them there which is why I would say yes...if we had a coach.

I to you sir.
And to answer the OP. GTFOOH 3-1 v Saban, 9-6, and Begging = broken trophy.

No way,for a lot of reasons... However, It would be interesting for both sides as I believe that Chiz, Muschamp, Miles, basically any decent coach would be successful at Alabama...

Could very well be true, sure. But what I'm saying is if instead of coaching to 2020, if he said enough in say, 2013, would this be surprising?

You have to really be a huge screw up (Dubose and Shula) to not be successful at Alabama. The talent comes here, you just need to know what to do with it.

Dubose and Shula
still managed an SEC title and a top 10 finish respectively

Dubose won an SEC championship... Shula was successful considering the environment he was working under. In fact, I think he would make a school a good head coach if he wanted that...

Recruiting at a school like Alabama isn't hard. Getting the best players there isn't hard. Winning there isn't hard.
Let Saban take a program like USC and do what Spurrier has been able to do and then I'll reconsider.
This isn't not to say he hasn't been successful, but it's easy to win there.

You realize our "scumbag" coach took LSU from Ole Miss level to a championship one. You were shite before Saban came and gave life to LSU

He did it at LSU albeit we were in a little better starting position when Saban came in than when Spurrier went to USCe

LSU was in a much better position to win than USC. They have no instate competition. Lou didn't get them in trouble with the NCAA etc...

Our hero? We won championships before he arrived, LSU on the other hand, well let's just say you guys werent.
You should have named your stadium after him considering what he did for yall.

LSU is also a historically winning school with access to a lot of rich talent. South Carolina just recently passed .500 in terms of their football wins and has exactly one championship of any kind.
Don't get me wrong, Saban is the best in the business. But I'm impressed with what Spurrier has got going on at USC.

LSU was loaded with fricking talent and that a-hole left the first opportunity to fall on his arse in the nfl, before crawling back to bama where he knew he could cheat to win. Bama fans are pathetic.

Im not an LSU fan, i just call them like i see thwem, unlike the bammers who think he's some sort of fricking god because he cheats more than the rest of the coaches and lies to everyone.
