Shitting the bed in the postseason/CWS every season does not a championship baseball program make. Same thing with UNC.

FSU has an elite baseball program. That's not even debatable.

I'd rather Virginia Tech or one of the NC schools, honestly.

Add one of the Okies and I'd be cool with that.

Based on that logic, we should throw out Ole Miss, Alabama, and Vanderbilt.

Except the fact that those teams are founding members of the conference...

So?

History doesn't bring anything to the "table", does it?

Would love FSU in the SEC. Screw UF and this whole "we already have a school in the state" logic. It would make the conference better and that should be all that matters.

It would be awesome to see regular games between FSU and Bama, LSU, UGA, Auburn, A&M, etc.

The women at FSU alone are enough for me.

Uh, no.

They kicked sand in our faces when they were invited back in '90 (they were sponsored by UF!) so let them stew in that crappy conference called the ACC.

Besides, UF, UGA, AU, and Alabama won't let them in. That's DOA.

Why doesn't your program just schedule them more often? FSU isn't coming to the SEC.

But then you wouldn't get a chance to bitch about the schedule.

At what point will you be satisfied that it's good enough?

If we dropped the mississippi schools, vandy, and arkansas and added texas, oklahoma, florida state, and clemson would that be good enough? There is simply no point in having a leage that could at any point in time have up to 9 schools that could all legitimiately compete for a national title and then knock each other off over the course of the season.

Absolutely; they would also bring a top notch baseball program to the table.

Unfortunately, this will likely never happen, since the entire conference expansion movement is all about TV markets... so God forbid a school from a state already including an SEC school be asked to join. Proximity and Regional Ties have become of little to no significance.

I was just teasing

Some UF fans are bitching about the 2017 Michigan game at Jerryworld.

Because they're not concerned with the fans' entertainment, they're concerned with profit.

I'm concerned with the fans' entertainment - namely mine.

So why doesn't your program schedule any teams outside of the south more often?
