Would Texas make a play for Sumlin?

If so, how much of it would be from sheer spite? This would make the Alabama/Auburn rivalry seem like a Kenny G concert.

Texas would NEVER go after Sumlin for at least one of the same reasons they would never go after Briles...the appearance of taking a coach from a "lesser school".
The other reason, of course, is because the Klanhorns hate black people.

Maybe a 6 or 7 years ago. Texas' focus is squarely on College Station. All the SEC/Aggie hype is giving those fricks in Austin ulcers.
