Blackface was expelled and publicly reprimanded by Gates.

Compare that to this culture:

Serious question though, why isn't Les Miles name being mentioned. Why isn't his name ever mentioned for any big openings?

First, frick LSU. Second, despite the white trash meth monkeys, LSU is still a destination job. While the money might be better at Texas, it's still a step down.

Sumlin does not possess the #1 qualification required for all UT head coaches - he/she must be white

I do too. And what do I know but I'll bet that deep in their collective Longhorn hearts there's too much pride and trepidation.

Come to think of it, I'm feeling a bit of trepidation over the game Saturday.

It was not like Texas went to UNC to hire Dean Smith

Perhaps you should acquaint yourself with the dossier on one David McWilliams and one John Mackovic.

After that era of mediocrity, I wouldn't be surprised if Texas actually went to UNC to hire Dean Smith. Mack was some kind of consolation prize/parting gift.

Only anticipation for me. Trolling aside, looking forward to experiencing gameday in NWA
