I wish he would. But why would Texas hire someone who can't beat Ole Miss.

UA-LSU Saban Vs Miles has been a great series.

Yep, Miles is the only guy who has ever truly competed with Saban since he went to bama. Not just a one year flash in the pan. Look at the scores in this matchup people, it is an awesome game every single year (except 1/9/12 FML).

I agree.

I have been surprised that Les's name hasn't come up in anything I've read about our coaching search (which has begun of course).

I've always liked Les's style - he plays to win. Sometimes that bites you in the arse but it's better than Mack's "Play not to lose" mentality.

If Les isn't going to Michigan I don't think he'd ever come to Texas, regardless of whether Texas wanted him or not. But the man has won crystal so he should be on the list.

i would love it if your program was dumb enough to offer les miles. It would just be mack brown part two but get ready for botched clock management and les wouldn't even bring yall a title. He doesn't have a hard nosed legendary coach to build the program and stock it with talent for him. He would just be following someone that is just like him.

They'll offer him - but he'll decline. Les is at home at LSU.

IMO Les Miles is a much better coach than Mack Brown.

I also think Les relates to young people better than Mack.

I don't know why some LSU fans have no respect for their coach. All he does is win 80%+ of his games... You all may rue the day he leaves.

Texas and Big 12 fans in general spent too much time disparaging him at Ok State and now LSU to consider him IMO

would UT be interested in Les?
Look at all the HC jobs that have been available lately, it was rumored that Michigan wanted Les back in 2007..... Any other historically major programs been courting Les since his alma matre? USC, OSU, PennSt, FLA, Tenn, Miami, Notre Dame, any NFL team?????

He wins at LSU

If anyone quotes me - I'll kick you in the nuts, but he's a fricking awesome coach. I would have shite myself had he gone to Arkansas last year

Seriously - show some respect, and never ever mention that I said those words

Mack got another year by beating OU. Of course he could still shite the bed.

Perhaps, but if he loses to Baylor or TTech he's gone. It's one thing to be considered 2nd fiddle to Aggy, but the chucklehead sips ain't got no time for being pwned by Briles and Kliff.
