And Mack isnt "goofy"?

Regardless, he wouldn't go that shite-show of a program and conference.

All right. If you represent majority of the LSU fanbase and if I were Les Miles, I would leave Baton Rouge. You seriously want Gundy, Franklin or Briles? Over a coach with a National Championship, SEC Championships and BCS bowl wins? His 2011 season and loss in the 2012 BCSNCG is more impressive to me than anything those guys have done. Are you really an LSU fan? If so, you guys are a tough bunch to please...

You were in such a rush to post a completely unoriginal thought that you totally screwed it up. Sorry, bro.

florida replaced zook for sucking and won two titles out of it. bama kept hiring retards. tennessee has a problem with lack of instate talent, same with nd and nd has higher standards so it hurts them in recruiting, usc is slowed down by probation and a bad hire.

the huskers have fallen off because of changes in the game.

LSU is in a very unique position, we are a top 12 historical team and we could easily move into the top 10 if we kept our attitude from 03-07. we have lost that attitude and now we are doomed to peach bowls because we are scared of making a change.

LSU is the only sec school in a talent rich state, we have defensive players, oline and running backs for days and some good wrs. we really only need to go out of state for a qb most years. If we build back up our la wall we can dominate people. only sec school in a talent rich area with the money of the taf behind us will stop us from being tennessee and nebraska.

He doesn't. He goes back and forth between being an LSU and a State fan. But no, posters on the interweb don't reflect anything close to reality. Hell, last night someone wrote that Saints fans don't like the Mannings because some posters on Saints Talk said so.

The Mannings were recently paid several million dollars to use their last name for a sports bar in New Orleans, Archie gets a standing ovation in the Superdome on the regular and he has done numerous commercials (for decades) throughout the state ending with "tell 'em Archie sent you". He is constantly on local TV and radio because he's so widely adored. But yeah, Saints fans don't like the Mannings because he read it on the interweb. Derp.

id be ok with some wholesale changes. I want les gone but i know that isn't happening. Id like to see cam have his pick of offensive coaches besides wilson(id make sure he stayed here). Then on defense since we have been terrible this year we need to replace brick and then if we continue to suck next year replace chavis and bring in a young dc to change the country club LSU attitude that has become a issue and let that dc pick his position coaches.

What makes you think LSU is immune from a bad hire? If LSU made a great selection, and he backed out at the last second, then what?

miles is on track for 8-4 this year and probably 8-4 next year. we slacked off in recruiting and 8-4 over and over again is very zooker and if you haven't noticed nick saban has torn down our instate wall and is raiding our best players.

i never said we were immune from a bad hire. I dont think we would have problems finding a good coach based on the built in advantages of being LSU and the amount of money we have that we can throw down for a coach.

Disagree, but possible.

probably 8-4 next year
Doubtful.

We did have a pretty mediocre class due to a down year in state and that combined with all of the early NFL guys got the defense where it is this year. It will improve.

He's getting some of them. We've also gotten our fair share from Alabama. Those things will happen.

Yeah, I'm sure LSU firing Miles after what he's done here wouldn't give anyone pause. Getting someone else as good as Miles is nowhere close to being a guarantee.

2 players that LSU really wanted in 7 seasons. 2. dos amigo, and one hasn't even signed yet. Not sure how that translates into tearing down walls and raiding and what not but you go right ahead with your Miles bashing brah. I know it makes you feel better.

a good coach wouldn't be scared if miles left or got pushed out for the decline. good coaches have egos like nick saban so they dont worry about failing.

I honestly think we would be ok if les took a back seat and was only a ceo. He should be that right now but he still likes to put his grubby little seal hands on the clock management aspect and it fricks us. We need some new blood and the easiest new blood would be replacing position coaches. Hopefully with new blood it would make the program tick again and regain our swag.

you think we are going to stop a&m with our d? we aren't beating bama and a&m isn't looking good. also with les miles history even if we upset bama or a&m he will lose to arky.

have you seen what we lose next year? mett for sure likely to lose obj, hill, landry and collins. also known as all of our best players. then on d we should improve but who knows how much. its likely 8-4 or 9-3 neither puts in any kind of title hunt.

id rather the top louisiana players over the top bama players.

the attitude of oh hey we are LSU and little ole miss is going to back down to us. Our players dont play with nearly the same fire as bama does. we have soft players and no leadership. its almost like texas but not at that level yet.

If they could avoid that situation, they would. Any coach with a brain knows how close they are to numerous losses in any given season in the SEC.

How many Nick Sabans are out there? I see one. He's not leaving his job.

You think A&M stops LSU with that partial birth abortion of a defense?

also with les miles history even if we upset bama or a&m he will lose to arky.
Who can argue with that stellar logic?

Yes. Have you studied what other schools are losing?
