This.

They will offer anybody they think they can get, assuming Mack is done.

He wins at LSU

If anyone quotes me - I'll kick you in the nuts, but he's a fricking awesome coach. I would have shite myself had he gone to Arkansas last year

Seriously - show some respect, and never ever mention that I said those words

Exactly, if you can win at LSU, then you can win at Texas. Texas is one of the few better jobs than LSU.

because my dog could win 80 percent of the games at LSU. of course bama fans want us to keep les, we aren't winning the west again with les miles as our coach.

the fricking clown can't manage the clock. he is good for blowing at least 2 games a year and the one season he managed to not blow 2 games a year he shite all over it because in the biggest game he quit like a fricking bitch.

les miles is complete crap and the sooner we can rid ourselves of les miles the better. we have 6 free wins a fricking year and 2-3 games where its not a better win but its a should win. then we have 3-4 games where its a toss up.

Mack ain't coming back, no matter the final record - if, somehow, he manages to win the rest of the games (not possible), he will get a glowing parade and sendoff. But Texas will have a new coach in 2014.

nah texas program already has an entitlement issue thanks to mack brown. If they get les he would take his fat buddy stud over to texas and you would see their players continue to be soft just like our players. they would get to see the 5 million dollar seal clap his hands like a good seal and have no concern for the clock at all as the seconds tick away and he doesn't think to use the timeout.

Texas wants a coach that can actually put words together in a sentence that people can understand.

There lies the problem. Texas fans think they are better than all the coaches out there. Even going as far as saying "we'll just grab a coach out of the NFL, nobody can resist us because we're Texas."

This year though they will be competing with another storied and traditionally good program in USC for a head coach. While the head coach pay is confidential, I'm sure a program like USC can and just might match dollar for dollar with Texas.

But back on point, Texas fans tend to think every coach wants to come running to their program just because it's Texas. It's going to take some significant money to get one of the top names in college ball to leave their program.

Other than your dog, Who do you really think could come into LSU and win at the same clip as Miles? I'm talking coaches that you could really hire. I mean damn, as a Bama fan, I'd love to see you guys lose Miles. Bama would beat y'all's tail year after year. I love the Saban-Miles games. You need to check yourself b/c your team has a great coach.

Miles ain't going anywhere - he and Alleva are two peas in a pod. Miles wins plenty of games every year, he has a few SEC trophy's, one crystal, and played for another crystal, he brought LSU their first ever undefeated regular season. I'm sure there are many other great accomplishments that Les has that Rickdaddy or MetyreTiger could rattle off quickly.

Bottom line, Les is a good coach that wins plenty of games. And if the fan anger and outrage during the '08 & '09 seasons didn't run Les off, then nothing will.

Naw, Les had them at the "team vote" suspension policy. Right up their alley.

this question is fricking tiring when the milestards start with it and then put miles record at LSU against a up and coming coach like they are at a program that is equal to LSU when miles took over.

1. mike gundy - he has done more at okie state than les miles did
2. James franklin- he would be dangerous at LSU. the man has fire and has somehow improved vandy recruiting and he actually knows how to manage a clock.
3. art briles from baylor if you can win at baylor im sure you can win at LSU.

of course changing coaches could be risky but we aren't going to be winning titles with les miles blowing at least 2 games a year.

les is not a great coach, a great coach can put together a coherent though every now and then and a great coach wouldn't get raped by the clock twice against the same fricking team. Les makes boneheaded move after boneheaded move and sometimes talent bails him out sometimes it doesn't.

the lestards will start up with how great of a recruiter les miles is but being at LSU greatly improves ones recruiting ability especially with how much money the taf has pumped in the program since 2000.

imo at texas les would recruit just fine because of its advantages but they would always lose at least two games due to his piss poor game management and his teams just being soft. A lazy entitlement attitude is all over our program right now and it starts with miles and his staff. when you have someone like stud on your staff that is wearing a fricking undershirt while coaching (in a position he shouldn't be in) you have issues.

well this is wrong. id suggest not trying to be a LSU historian

you are right about joe and les though they both belong together and if we could get them out of LSU it would be a great day to be celebrated.

If Texas fires Brown, would UT be interested in Les?

Very doubtful.
He's a good fit at LSU.
He would not be in Austin.

That's what people at Tennessee, Florida, Notre Dame, USC, Alabama, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Texas and Michigan thought at different times as well. They, like you, were all quite wrong.

a good fit if you mean stunts our potential and actually allows a&m to move ahead of us.

les isn't a good fit anywhere besides a beach with seals or in a fricking circus

You do realize that the team vote was the fourth step in the reinstatement process, don't you?
