Larry, better watch yourself, first you killed your father, then you pissed on his grave, now I guarantee you he will haunt your arse.
He will haunt you full-on Blair Witch style if you keep doing this, why would you want to go out like that?

Just chant these numbers over and over...
34-28, 34-28, 34-28, 34-28, 34-28.......
This will help stifle the haunting process

Alabama-Louisiana Tech 1992 @ Legion Field.

David Palmer ran a punt back in the 4th quarter for the game's only TD.

Alabama had a good defense that year but holy dog shite... that was a boring offense to watch.

it rained too.

Sucked.

Just accept it, no one wanted to watch the stupid rematch. ESPN force fed that shite to us after they pulled a bitch move. The whole if you don't win your conference you shouldn't play in a title game shite they had been perpetrating for every title game for the past 5 seasons until it was convenient for them went out the fricking window and we watched a shitty fricking game because of it.
Not even LSU fans wanted a rematch b/c beating Nick twice in a season was unrealistic.

They shouldn't have had to have one. LSU was punished for winning the regular season game, and Bama was rewarded for losing. Bama couldn't even win their half of the SEC, but they're National Champs. They used to say under the BCS system the regular season was the playoffs. Well, Bama was eliminated then. Pure ESPN BS.

neither defense was the best of All-Time

Maybe not, but both were top 5.

Offensive play calling was horrible

It definite wasn't good, but horrible is a bit strong. Neither coach was willing to let their offense even have a chance to make a mistake. Probably the most conservative offensive game I've ever seen (as far as both staffs being so timid on the offensive play calling)

9-6 was an example of an awesome low scoring game between two great teams.

3-2 was an example of the most god awful low scoring game between two terrible teams.

By 2011 ESPN had run the numbers and could see the $$$ for a 4 team playoff. They orchestrated a coup. It worked. Cashed in Jan. 9 2012 and will cash in more over the next several years until they figure out a way to maintain the cash cow that is the regular season and make more money off an 8 team playoff.

But we always have that Bama team to thank for finally making the NCAA see the BCS was screwed up and had to be changed.

Auburn/Tennessee 2008 was defintely the worst game I've seen in person. We won but it was so miserable and felt like we lost.

Edit: Also saw Auburn/UK 2009 in person. It was freezing and we fricking lost
