I dont remember them perpetuating this, even if so, that was an extenuating circumstance. Deal with it pretty boy.

bullshite, this is the exact reason LSU jumped from 7 all the way to 2 in 2007. This exact fricking reason. ESPN fricking people in the arse.

2011 Bama was one of the best teams ever. No matter who played us would have faced a similar fate.

They were VERY good, no doubt. But I doubt many saw that coming. LSU looked like they were ready to go grab a Hurricane at Pat O's.

But no doubt Bama did a beautiful job on us, that night. Domination.

3-2 was miserable.

Unless you like penalties, punts, dropped passes, missed field goals and holds in the end zone.

There were exciting moments, like another near safety that would have made it 4-3. I'm not sure MSU crossed the Auburn 30. I know Auburn dominated but couldn't hit short field goals.

Yeh. So good they couldn't score a touchdown in their home stadium.

That's a credit to how good that LSU defense was.

Haha I do, but UGA and LSU were in the same conference, and there was another undefeated team from a BCS conference. It was a trickier situation.

We were ranked 4th , they were ranked 7th. They played UT in the title game. 2 teams in front of us lost. ESPN went on a full fledge assault on the fact that we didn't play in the title game vs UT so we didn't deserve to be in the title game. Then they fully reversed course like some pansy arse bytches in 2011. It's fricking horseshite. Anyone who thinks the political money machine that is ESPN doesn't control the rankings is blind. The system is rigged.

LSU/UT 2010 was pretty bad. Jordan Jefferson scored a TD on one of the first few plays of the game and not much else happened until the end of the game, which was not exactly a shining moment for les miles or dereck dooley. i'm not sure i've ever been more embarrassed about a win

9-6 was an obvious battle of great defenses

Nah...Inept offense. Horrible special teams. Built up to be "Game of the Century"...was a snoozefest.

It was a different situation, sorry you can't see that. There was a conference champ with a better resume in your own conference, AND an undefeated Ohio State team.

I find it funny that you are still so very upset about it though.

Because of incredible defense.

Both of those offenses ran the score up on every other team they played that year.

I get that, but that was the most tense I have ever been during a game. The defense was awesome in that game regardless of how conservative the coaches were. I had a friend that was a walk on at the time tell me that was the most beat up he ever saw our team.

We understand that, but you had a vested interest in that game. To observers with no dog in the fight, it was awful. Boring. No offense to the teams involved....that's just how it shaped up.
