Toss up between Kevin Steele or Jim Chaney imo

With Steele winning by not much

Still can't believe either got hired again in the SEC

Meh, Steele did an ok job as a band-aid when Chavis left.

I'm sure glad Auburn took him off our hands though.

One of the worst hires in the entire country, IMO.

Massive downgrade from Will Muschamp.

Chaney is an upgrade, especially when you consider the package deal with Pittman coming in.

Maybe, but you had Schotty before so that's not saying much

Did the hire happen strictly because of his brothers affiliation with Auburn?

How did this happen?

Don't let Pittman coach your special teams blocking.

Motherfricker.

So you are saying LSU was going to fire Steele?

Well, Auburn struck out of others they wanted more... IMO, LSU got rid of Kevin Steele, not the other way around. I guess he appealed to Gus Malzahn as a guy that wouldn't leave for another job, unlike Will Muschamp, and the rest is history. I personally hate the hire and think Auburn will underachieve on defense even with such talent.

No Mazzone? Like LSU and Steele, UCLA fans wanted him fired.

Steele is the fired guy with nine lives and he has used twelve of them. Not bad.

Of course not. Les was going to allow him to pursue other coaching opportunities much like he did with Tony Ball

Bert and other coaches do the same thing all the time

Chaney being an example of Bert doing it
