I don't know about that. We can't even agree when the series started and have been playing on a neutral field since the 30's.
Edit: It's definitely our #1 rival in my eyes at least over FSU.

The distance between the universities (Florida & Georgia) is too great and the population along the route is too sparse to mimic Alabama/Auburn or Ohio State/Michigan.

Just pointing out that even the Gumps can't decide who their biggest rival is. Therefore the entire SEC must pick a permanent opponent, but if South Carolina doesn't like theirs, they can change.
