How are people able to rank ballparks they've never visited?
You see it often on this board.

Plus, exclude your home field (LSU and USCe fans putting theirs first)..

Personally, by the looks of it, MSU's new stadium will be the best..by far.

the new one planned is unparalleled in college and it will be for some time
get out of here with that crap. baum, the box, carolina and the new state stadium would all be at the top of the heap, each with different features that make them great. like i said, those schools are already ahead of state and are not just sitting still. unparalleled.

1. USC
2. LSU
i don't get this. baum and carolina are incredible facilities but both look bland compared to the box.

Have you seen the facilities threads? Like anyone here has been inside all these schools' facilities.

It's an opinion. You're not supposed to get it. Duh.

Not getting anyone ranking USC's stadium at the top.

This...

...is not better than...

...or

Not inside or outside. It's a wonderful place to be sure, but I don't see how you can justify ranking it above those two stadiums, Alex Box and Baum. And I'm not hating.

I'd put it...

1. Arkansas
2. LSU
3. USC

...the rest, right now.

Trust me as much as I hate to admit it When State upgrades it will be one of a kind and the new standard for elite venues in baseball. I'm sure in time others will catch up but right away State will have a venue that stands alone in the college baseball world. So yes that will make it unparalleled

Are we aware this happens in the pros baby?

Gotta love the National League where you pray for a walk as a guy who hardly practices hitting trots out there to end the inning.

I have been to Alex Box and Baum (the nature of my work) and they are very nice, especially the national championship "museum" at LSU..

Threads like this are opinion based so I'm not sure why it bothers you so much. Have you ever actually been to Carolina Stadium? It has a Wide concourse (you can walk around the entire park and see the field perfectly), palm trees everywhere, several picnic areas, a great Daktronics videoboard, a berm, ALL chair back seating, a playground area for kids, a national championship exhibit and a huge mural behind centerfield. It doesn't even feel like a collegiate facility. It's professional grade.. and to top it off, it's right by the river and has an amazing view of downtown Columbia behind center field. I can't wait until they connect it to the river eventually.

Sure, you're welcome to not think it's better than Box or Baum, but there's a reason people (not just SC fans) think its number 1. But hey, Alex Box and Baum both have more suites than Carolina Stadium.. but then again, Carolina Stadium isn't a finished product either. So I'm sure more suites and chair back seating are on the way, maybe in 5/10 years or so.. FWIW, I said the those three were interchangeable in my rankings. They are all three very different flavors of collegiate parks.

And you think Baum and The Box are? Listen, I have no hate in my heart here. I think the pictures I posted spoke for themselves.

Arkansas already has plans for expansion. LSU has repeatedly demonstrated that they will respond to keep abreast in the facilities race. The latest expansion and renovations to Tiger Stadium proved that.

When you lead the country in attendance for 19 out of the last 20 years as LSU has, and sell out all of your premium seating plus have a waiting list for more, it's pretty much a foregone conclusion that expansion is in the wind.

Ready for some warm night games with a few too many beers at Baum.

Wish I could travel more for baseball but am always too busy around here during the season.

You've never been to Dudy.

The "coolness" of left field lounge is unmatched by anyone in the country. The atmosphere at LSU/State/OM are all about the same really. Just depends on what weekend you're there.
