I'm hoping to get to A&M's place and Mizzou's place over the course of the next couple of seasons if God is willing and the creek don't rise.

My suggestion and my prediction. Mizzou is getting a new AD. Our baseball coach is on the last year of his last extension. My prediction is that the new AD is going to hire a new coach and part of the discussions with the new coach will be plans for a whole new stadium or major major renovations to the existing stadium. I'd wait until that is done. Softball is already getting a brand new stadium, but they win.

As of now, I'm not just being negative or dramatic when I tell you that there are many high school fields that are better than Mizzou's current stadium/field. People joke about it with our football field, but it's true with our baseball field.

USC atmosphere was electric the last game of the season vs LSU season before last. Box-like big game atmosphere and I thought it was as good as any venue in SEC*

Will be far and away number one in a few years
by the time that gets completed, lsu and maybe usc/ark will have done enough to equal it. which i'm excited about. that msu stadium looks incredible. plus, i would be willing to bet that it will be done in phases. phase 1 will probably not look like the finished product.

No, will be finished in likely two years and we have the benefit of batting last in the SEC stadium race. There is a reason the new one planned is unparalleled in college and it will be for some time.

Maybe two phases as in two off-seasons but the money was raised in total by the time they announced it.

We don't have the luxury of an Alabama and playing our home games 45 miles away while we build the Taj Mahal of college baseball. Our closest option is Jackson or Memphis. It will be close but it's only money. But, it's MSU baseball. We will get it done.

I was there for all three games ... y'all took us in that series. Broke our hearts. That was a huge series and I thought y'all had all the momentum to make a run all the way through the SEC tourney and on to Omaha after that series ... but Stony Brook was on a bigger run that were y'all. That series totally shocked me. Then we recover from the series loss to y'all and the shitty showing in Hoover and we find ourselves back in the CWS Championship series for the third year in a row and run into an absolute buzzsaw in Arizona who peaked at just the right time.

Ole Miss? LOL. If you've actually been to a game there, you'll know that place is a joke. Hot girls are abundant but its quiet as church.

Guessing. You went to one game and y'all were ahead most of the game and won. Kind of takes the crowd out of it right?

It'll be a couple of years before I'll be able to get to CoMo for a baseball game. We went by your ballpark when we were out there for the football game two seasons ago.

Y'all will get it together for baseball eventually. It's an SEC thing and besides, from what I gathered, y'all are a baseball loving state.

We are and I hope so. We had so much catching up to do after joining the SEC that football was obviously going to get all of the initial dollars. They did some of those renovations and this time around, they're hitting some of the other sports. They rewarded the softball team with a new stadium and frankly, they deserve it. Baseball will get it eventually. I just hope it's sooner rather than later being a baseball fan myself.

I like Dudy more than Baum and Hawkins over Foley but you're right on most of this list in my opinion.

Swayze is of course my favorite but I loved Alex box, dudy and Carolina stadium. All are tough places to play and great atmospheres.

You apparently don't know that they have now made the metal bats weaker than wood bats.

unless the Vols have made some major changes since I've been there (about 10 years ago) there is no way any SEC park can rank lower. I was much disappointed in their park.
