I have no problem if a State fan wants to call it a "close" game. I have a problem if anyone wants to claim that "State should have won." That's asinine.

We "shouldn't" have won. But we very easily "could've" won.

You don't get a rematch in college football; that would be ridiculous.

I think it's more plausible for the playoff to incorporate the rematch, rather than the bcs selection parameters.

But I am sick of MSU posters acting as if Saturday was a close game.

It was close

I actually think that we'd beat yall worse if we played yall again with a healthy Yeldon and Cam Rob.

Ok. It wasn't a given, it was two tough teams. Nothing in that game happened to indicate that the better team lost. But yes, had the ball bounced differently, you are good enough that you could have won.

I know , there are a lot of " experts " who think MSU will be 4 , but I think they won't.

You got beat Saturday by more that UA. LSU & TAM are now out of the top 25 , and your only good win is against AU, who got dawg stomped ( by the real dawgs ) and will more than likely be around #20. MSU has no business being in the top 6, your schedule does not hold up well.

It will be either tOSU or TCU/Baylor at 4.
I would put my money on tOSU.

And those will be the 4 if it all plays out as it is.

Prediction this week

MSU should be #4, they have the best resume of the 1 loss teams in terms of wins and quality of loss.

Maybe.

But nothing happened on Saturday to back up that claim. You were handled. You kept the score close late in the game, but you were handled.

$$$$, nobody (ESPN, advertising ppl, etc) wants to see a 1 loss non SEC champ MSU over a 1 loss Ohio State.

If Bama is lucky enough to make the playoffs and meets OSU, I wonder how many people will say "Urbs can't hide from intensified Tide?"

An epic humiliation of Ole Miss might get them eye test. I think it would be great to have two SEC teams in the title game. It might end all the other conferences as we know them.

Which wont happen seeing as how MSU has trouble with good defenses.

Prediction this week

1 - OREGON ( wins over 11,12,14, & 23 )
2 - BAMA ( wins over 1, 17(falling), & 24 ( falling)
3 - FSU ( wins over 18 & 19 both falling)but undefeated
4 - Ohio State ( wins over 12 & 24 ( falling)

5 - Baylor ( win over 4 )
6 - TCU ( win over 25 ( falling)
7 - MSU ( wins over 9, 17, & 24 ALL FALLING 17 & 24 probably out)

Nicely worded.

MSU definitely had all the pieces that they could have won the game had the ball bounced differrntly. Even though I admit I scratched my head a few times at Dan's management and playcalling at the end of the game.

That's a fair statement, but it isn't the one a lot of your fans are making.
