I personally think it's pretty GOOD luck not having our original starting QB and RB injured and still having a 6-1 record

Beginning of the season, I though SC would win the SEC and play in the BCSCG. I thought the combo of the experienced Garcia, best WR (Jeffrey), best RB (Lattimore), and the best defensive line (and pretty good rest of the defense too) would be enough for SC to finally break through.

I can't believe how average SC has played. This might be the most talented team SC will ever have but they have played so mediocre.

Injuries and ineptness at QB will do that to a team.

It is possible that we go 3-0 against our final remaining SEC opponents. We are due against Arkansas, although I think they have a better team than us. I am hoping that something good is about to happen though, and this team pulls itself together down the stretch. Could be wishful thinking.

Especially in Fayetteville.

We've beaten them once there.

Like I've said, we're pretty much even when our O and their D is on the field. It's going to be up to OUR defense to step it up when they need to. A few things bounce in our direction (they never seem to against Arky) and we can win the game.

Though not a would beater by any means the ineptness show by Garcia and by Shaw vs ECU has seemed to slow diminish with Shaw over these last few weeks. Thus far there have been very few "boneheaded" type places/decisions by Shaw. And his accuracy has been pretty decent too.

I don't care if we're playing the deaf and blind kids with cerebral palsy, I'm worried about every SC game.

Eh... They weren't a good team to begin with, Bray just gave them a fighter's chance. I don't see any reason why we can't beat them pretty soundly.

I see it like the Bama game, though not near as large a point margin.

A team NC State has actually played before.

Scroll down to 1903.

eta: Its actually the deaf and dumb.

Also notice how we played NC State twice in 1901.

I worry about Tennessee for one reason... the fact that it is in Knoxville and weird things happen up there. We should handle them, but I have said that too many times before.

Well to adopt a motto of a very special team that will go down in South Carolina history:

Win anyway.

You're exactly right. I hate all of the excuses, and I can't even get on any of the Gamecock boards for all of the bitching and moaning, but we need to go out there with some attitude and pop somebody in the mouth. Go dominate and win the game. Don't play scared.
